i posted this in another thread, i will also in this

we need action for all contributors, like was for dpc.

why are the Russians so quiet?

I haven't sent them anything new in months.  This is the last straw for me. I just deactivated 50 of my best and will remove more each day until they are only left with very old/less popular files.  I'm sure they couldn't care less, but it makes me feel better.  My message to them on "reason for deactivating"....

New $40 "subs" package = 7% commission. As if 16% wasn't insulting enough. No Thanks.

per month :)

there are other cost problematic too, studio, computers for 12 people, electricity, internet, heating
,accounting

even in poland, i think everybody working at home on own computers

12 people in poland probably cost 12.000 per month, in my country it would be at least double.

35.000 images is max 35.000$ income , no go  in my country.

how much cost educated worker in Poland?

Of course you mean 35.000$ a month, not a year ?

Here, in Romania, average salary is around of 400 - 450 $ / month. So, I believe, it could be a good business.

250$ on that are taxes, at least 50$ are cost per employee.

it could be a good business yes

I believe it would be polite if you provide the name of your country first. BTW, the 1000 euro in some places in Spain, for example, considered as "OK" income. Not "great", but OK. Making 1000 euro per month won't make a living in my country (Canada), but will give me enough to live in many other places, including some European countries. How much do you cost in your country?

minimal wage with all taxes and medical insurance in my country is 1300, net income is 700, im from eu zone

well today i have only 4 sales on fotolia, shutter is  below average today, do we get money for free download or not?

This scene is becoming depressed

The question is how much will we get. Last time it was clear: 50% of 9,99$ = 4,99 buyer pays=3.30 we get. Now it seems like for the free month for new customers we get 1.65$, but it can be 0,99 (?) if buyer will sign up for one year of Adobestock https://stock.adobe.com/promo/firstmonthfree. And I have no idea how much should we get for 120 free images offered for MAX attendees.

is there a job in western civilization you dont have any information, how much you are paid, this is ridiculous, i spent every day four hours and my employee doesnt spend 30 seconds to tell me how much will i earn.

disaster, and this company is on NYSE, omg. i feel like a slave....

60
still no answer?

61
Thank you.

I wrote to support earlier today to ask just that question.

When I get an answer I'll post it here.

I also suggested that they should put things like this (new products and clarifying contributor royalties on those products) into the contributor blog

62
we are not sure, can someone ask SS how much we are paid, because if we get 4%, we can close our jobs, this industry is working only because of 2.85$, if the drop 50% this is disaster for me.

sooner or later you will uploading more, then  rejection comes, noise can be problematic .   you need shallow depth of field, sharpness, colors,...

buy good 50mm lens also.

Canon 6d or nikon d610 or sony a7, dont buy anything cheaper.
Why??
Your first dslr was one of these camera too?

« on: September 27, 2015, 13:16 »
this is realy weird sales, my sales are every day almost the same +- 15%, even saturdays and sundays are every week the same.

Last week I had two good days ($150 or so per day). The entire last week has been at $13, $16, $10 per day, WAY BELOW MY DAILY AVERAGE.

Very frustrating but very factual.

So you had TWO good days in a row? Is this not kind of the evidence that this theory does not work ? (just joking)

Here's the very common pattern (for me). Could be nothing, could be very coincidental, or it could be level loading income. I honestly do not know for a fact (obviously since I don't work for SS).

Mon: $70
Tue: $45
Wed: $50
Thur: $65
Fri: $42
Sat: a few pennies
Sun a few pennies
Mon: $150
Tue: $135
Wed: $13
Thur: $16
Fri: $10
Sat: a few pennies
Sun: a few pennies
Mon $12
Tue: $19
Wed: $14
Thur: $11

This is my current pattern (dollars not exact). What typically happens next is I will ramp back up to my daily average when I don't have any stellar days, usually within a couple of weeks. Based on the years of these patterns, I anticipate that next week I will see a slow ramping of daily earnings back to "normal".

This is all I am saying. So when we post these behaviors it's not conspiracy theory per se, but rather a discussion as to why it's happening.

You need 10k food images then, with 200 images new every month.

your images are perfect, you cannot earn 2k  with food, understand that.

Why not ? I believe that are many people who earn much more than that only with food pictures.

i think you all are overreacting, if i have big sod ,next day is 90% average or little less.  That is fact. Other fact is you have to work every day and that brings results. thats all.

I still have the hope of earn similar amounts that some users report (2k per month or more) which is almost impossible to earn working in my country...

I have same feeling. I'm pretty sure that if I ask someone what is my monthly revenue, he will say much more that actually is. Of course, if he is from a country with high living standard.

« on: September 16, 2015, 05:01 »
hm well, i have one every 2000-5000 dls

I had one last month and one on Sept. 1st but before that there was a drought.  Overall I am averaging one EL about every 350 DLs - not sure how it has changed over time though.

« on: September 10, 2015, 14:28 »
superb ratio! mine is at least half  of that, hard to believe, congrats.

Yes.  I'm averaging an OD or EL every 6.1 DLs so far this month, which is much higher than usual.  I expect it to average out by the end of the month and I'm sure your string of subs will end soon.

you are simply naive, one download sales are small percentage of all sales. 5 sales in europe, i should  get 2-2,5, will i get? no!
