Hi, There is a possible issue with uploading doubles (identical) that can happen.
When I upload clips (ftp) it sometimes uploads the same file 2-3-4 times. If I have a batch of mixed subjects I sometimes submit part of it and a couple of days later I submit the rest. Assuming a 20K+ portfolio of the OP I can see how doubles can be missed or unintentionally overlooked when submitting large batches. This could be a Super honest mistake.
I am a HUGE Shutterstock fan and trust them 100%. If this is what went down or a different honest mistake, Im sure they will be check it and let it slide.
Come on guys... have some faith in this company. Last night I checked my entire 9.5K portfolio for doubles and found 1 (deleted). I will double check again just to make sure.

And how do you check for doubles? Hmmm....
Ok, So the way I work is that no matter what I submit the entire shoot within the 3 weeks that the files are allowed to be in not submitted yet that way when I sort my entire portfolio by fresh content I can get a clear view of a batch spread on one or two pages...it takes good eyes, super strong will to not violate TOS and a couple of hours. Ill say it again, I am super happy with Shutterstock, the team is also fantastic whenever I have doubt or want to ask something. I will do anything possible to make sure they are happy with me as much as I am with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

50% down in earnings since February, Im not exclusive and I think they made (justified) adjustments to give more exposure to exclusive clips. Hurts my pocket deeply but I saw it coming with the exclusivity thing.

Im asking because of BME/WME discussions that no one really knows if were talking 20$ 200$ or 2000$ A drop is a drop, I respect it and feel bad for the ones that experience it (including me from time to time) but if one has 100 files online and sees a 30$ drop its way different from one that sees 2000$ drop with a large established portfolio.
I've posted some numbers. Like, for instance, I have 3500 images on Canva, and dropped from a high of more than $1000 a month to $35 last month.
that quote sums up my point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh shall I make a new video on this? I took down the other one as their program keeps changing. This is a race to the bottom and that is why I am going Exclusive with Pond5! I would like to see some real numbers on this! How much are people really making? anyone care to be honest?
Oh please make a new video. They used to be good, even with the 50-50 I was ok. But this is just sad. 9000 clips live. One sale this month. Happy with SS,P5,Adobestock and the very very surprising Vimeo stock (good solid sales, great team). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For the past five years, weve been hard at work trying to marry the needs of our members and contributors with the Marketplace. Our vision was simple: contributors get 100% of what they earn, and our members get great content at a fair price.
But for our members, this was anything but simple. Understanding what did and didnt come with their subscription was complicated. It restricted their ability to play freely within projects, and we received overwhelming feedback that the Marketplace wasnt for them. At the same time, we tried balancing the needs of contributors with price increases and Marketplace visibility improvements.
We knew we could do better.
Thats why Storyblocks is proud to announce the launch of the Member Library Partner Program! Its easy to understand. Its unrestrictive. And its all in support of the Storyblocks mission: Helping a new generation of independent creatives to create more moving stories. Its a great way for contributors to reach a new market of storytellers full of YouTube creators, freelance editors, and hobbyists. And its an opportunity for our members to tell their stories without a big Hollywood production budget.
What is the Member Library Partner Program? Instead of paying for clips a la carte in the Marketplace, our members pay for a subscription to access content in our Member Library. We then create a Member Library Earnings pool, which we divide among all contributors who participate in the program based on how much of their content is downloaded.
You can learn more about how the Member Library Earnings pool is calculated here.
Over the past eight months, weve been piloting the Partner Program and have proven that it can work for everyone: contributors, members and Storyblocks! Contributors on average are making 3x the amount that they ever earned through the Marketplace, and over 90% have chosen to stay in the Pilot Program.
The best part? Anyone can apply to join, theres no commitment period, and your content remains non-exclusive so you can keep earning everywhere else you distribute content. If you try the Partner Program and arent happy with your earnings, you can leave anytime. Its your content, and you should be able to earn any way you can.
Starting today, our focus will be the Partner Program and we want you to share in its success! To learn more and apply, check out the details on our site.

Hi Dennis,
Video mostly but also photos. Come on Adobestock, I think its time to dive into the Editorial world as well. It sells.
With or without Editorial...I still love Everything Adobe.

It should be per clip exclusivity. I like P5...but theres no way on earth that Ill go full exclusive with them or anyone else. I dont buy the non exclusive wont hurt your rank it doesnt add up, they will have to make room (plenty) for the exclusive files to sell and that will have to push the non exclusive down.
I love P5, for real! But the smart thing will be to let the contributor pick his exclusive files.

I saw a pretty big decline.
I've been tracking my overall ranking and it hasn't changed much. The search results have not changed.
How do you track your overall ranking on SS? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Its been 4 times now. They postponed my payout. At the 2nd month, they claim that i have not completed my new tax info. But now its almost 2 months since i complete the tax, still no payout.
Anybody with the same problem?
5 months here...tax form issues. Even when the tax form is perfect they still wont pay because my tax form and profile info are not the same. Lets see what happens next month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, In the past year or so, someone posted a deep contributor statistic file here, something with data about how many contributors are from each country, and other statistics.
Any chance for a link? Couldnt find it. Any chance for the recent file as well?
Thanks. ShutterStock fan.
