"what would you peeps advice??"
Don't get into microstock.
Sad answer. If it's so bad, why are you still uploading? Don't listen to these stupid advices. I say focus on SS and IS which are the ones that really bring in the money. And avoid DP, they are scammers.

I like their business concept, I hope they take off. I'll give them a try soon instead of uploading to Envato, Pond5, Veer and the same low earners. Just hope their upload isn't too Istocksy.

The worst part is that those pictures that do get through are not the best ones.
Some are taken with the same lighting and configurations, 5 seconds later and don't get approved.
Or they approve photos taken with my old camera while my superior new images get rejected.
It's the totally randomness that's really annoying me.

As a new contributor I didn't get this email... lucky me, I guess.

I'm getting a constant 90% rejection. Weekdays and weekends, big and small batches.
What . is wrong with them?
Will stop uploading there for a while, even Fotolia selects pictures more reasonably.

TS is selling more than SS for me, I'm worried because IS itself hardly sells anything.

I honestly don't think they would miss a chance to pay less to contributors.
Just like they promote files from low level contributors... 30% is huge in terms of total revenue.
I have no evidence of course, it's just my theory.

Yes, I opened the account in the US site so I'm stuck with dollars forever.
But I suspect they promote contributors getting USD instead of EUR so they can pay less.

This is a terrible agency to both contributor and buyer.
It's the only website where I never sold anything, which I find very hard to believe. Even on Canstock I sell once in a while.
Today I deactivated all my images in this dodgy company and it felt great.

15% lower downloads/image in 2 years is not that bad, considering the exponential portfolio growth.
Just hope the majority of the new images are from "factories" shooting business people and not my area.

They are rejecting 100% of some batches with the reason of Poor Lighting.
Lot of Attila reviewers since I got there last month... they still accept more than Fotolia though.

Better but it's still bad because when someone buys on demand they will never buy as much as if they had a 25-day subscription. Even if there was a 99 dollar entry it would still not be enough. When you need to pay separately each photo, psychologically the buyer thinks twice because he'll try to save money. In normal subscription packages the option simply isn't there. Not to mention that OD sales that actually pay something elsewhere will vanish in the long term.

Well, not my case. IS is doing well and very close to SS for me (new portfolio).
FT a little behind and DT on a distant 4th place.

Same here, 7% of my April downloads were OD, but now it's 0% despite more sales in May.
DPC effect?

Last week was a total blank for me, but today I started selling again in SS, IS, FT.

My understanding is that yes it's normal for new contributors. While IS favors old pictures, PP seems to promote new files better.
I thought IS was useless until I got this month PP sales, made 10x more than regular IS.

That's what I was looking for, thank you!

Is there a way to see when exactly the files were sold via PP?

So it's advertised as "Unlimited image use" but it's not really the case.
Doesn't make any sense or Fotolia doesn't care that buyers will use the image illegally.

I think you're doing well. I started this february and made U$ 0.75 (BS only) and U$ 6.85 in the second month (BS, CS, IS, DT, FT) and april is already better than march. I have between 100-300 files online, hopefully things will get going when I add SS. Thinking about uploading to PD and P5 but I guess I'll wait until I have more images.

Great post, Photodune makes up for 15% of your income?
That's odd... thinking about uploading there but not sure if it's really worth it.

In my experience, it always takes from a few minutes to up to a couple of hours for the sales to be shown in the "My Earnings" area.
That's exactly what happened, but this time it took almost 24h. DT now shows which files were sold.

Yesterday 0.49 was added to my earnings in Dreamstime, but it doesn't show which file was sold. Is this from partner program, and if yes is there a way to see where and how it was sold?
