It seems like I may have negative growth on Shutterstock for the first time this year despite adding new materials constantly. VideoBlocks is also declining. AdobeStock/Fotolia sales are growing this year. Pond5 sales are growing at slow but steady pace as well. I wonder what happened to Shutterstock? They are losing the edge.

I left when I joined VideoBlocks. So, I'm curious.

Do they sell well? They look too artsy for stock video.

If anybody are selling there. It looks too artsy.

I checked my sales on Pond5 from new items I uploaded this year or the recent months, but they rarely are getting views/sales. Fotolia is even doing better on newer items than Pond5. Is it just me? Maybe I got to think harder about what to shoot. Or maybe it takes time on Pond5 because they may not push new items like Shutterstock and Fotolia?

I'm comparing licenses between different agencies. While we get higher commissions for extra value licenses from Shutterstock and Pond5, do we get extra commissions from Videoblocks too? Their pricing chart shows customers have to pay $5,000 per year up front to them for Enterprise License, but I've never seen extra commission on my sales like in SS and P5 occasionally. https://www.videoblocks.com/pricinghttps://www.pond5.com/our-licensesThis may be a bad deal for us. If we don't get any $$ for higher value licenses.

It has been bad and I'm discouraged to upload/tag new material.

I started about 6 months ago there and have zero sales so far.

Since then it's a constant downhill. Maybe big buyers don't trust them or something.

I stopped uploading my photos because of zero sales. I'll wait till it's worth my time to upload photos there.

Mine was about 10% increase overall with about 10% new contents added.

Basically, it's the same level as 2 years ago while P5 and Shutterstock sales grow like 15% every year as I keep adding new contents. It's kinda disappointing.

That's good because Pond5 pays more than Shutterstock. It's time for Shutterstock to pay us more, like at least 40%. Pond5 has all kinds of licenses now which they didn't before. Maybe big corporate clients are shifting to Pond5 now. Fotolia/Adobe Stock video sales aren't growing as I expected. It kind of stopped growing. VideoBlocks sales aren't impressive either these days.

If anybody is still with Dissolve? I quit Dissolve and chose VideoBlocks. My VideoBlocks sales on average these days are about 1/4 to 1/3 of Pond5 sales. For the last 2 years, I think my VB sales grew about 50% on average.

Was it just me? Maybe Pond5 took a chunk of Shutterstock sales. Videoblocks was slow this month as well.

can't see the whole file name that I describe what the clip is. I hope they'll do something about it. I wonder why it's so difficult to play the video on it's tagging page so that contributors can see what the video is about and apply more precise tags. Shutterstock if you are listening, please do something!!

Is it just me? It's nearly on par with VideoBlocks sales this month. I'm worried. Anybody seeing the same trend?

Of course, only if they sell, it's good.

because of low price they sell for and pennies we get.

My understanding is that you only make $12 or less for a 1080HD clip non exclusive sale. Do they sell in huge volume to compensate low royalty?

I wonder if it's a good thing. They sell 1080P video clips for $60 (or less) and give us only $12. So, I don't sell my videos there, but I wonder how it is for photos. Any opinion? I mean, comparing to selling at Shutterstock and Fotolia.
