All sites are getting slower in recent months. It would be an overall increase of sellers, and thus an increase in uploads?

How can you tell if they close your account?  After I reached payout, I requested payment and asked to have the account closed.  I received my money but a month later had another sale.  I wrote them again saying I had previously requested my account be closed but that it was apparently still open. Never had any reply back.  I went in again today and it looks as if it's still active.

Ignore a request of those who give them the money to me is the limit of lack of respect.
They never answered my email, for this reason among others, I will close my account.

How many people closed their accounts without withdrawal the value below $50? So, is there a way
to be millionaire with microstock even if the company goes bankrupt with the sellers out. 

That to me, bankruptcy is their case with that attitude.

I just requested my final payout and once they pay I am closing my account. $1-$2 a month is not worth anything to me, but I do give them a lot of respect and kudos for plowing through tough times and not cutting commissions.  But unfortunately sales aren't there.

I try to avoid commenting on any agency here, but it seems to me if there were one outfit which really couldn't afford to pull this kind of stunt it would be 500px. A 40% cut in one fell swoop? Either it's a massively idiotic blunder or an orchestrated effort to cull the herd. Unfortunately it's their show and they can do whatever they want with it - just not with my stuff anymore. I've decided to join the cull. Deleted everything, closed my account and didn't even bother to read their "goodbye" email.

I'm confident I won't be missed too much, but if the groundswell continues who knows - maybe the message will get across. There's only so far you can push before everyone pushes back. Time will tell, meanwhile though I'm not holding my breath.

I think I'll focus even more on Alamy (50% share) now

We should give positive point for those who value our work, so I always praise the Alamy, which is growing every year. 

For me, not only Alamy, but 123RF and Fotolia are having an increase in gains, on the other hand SS is falling slightly.

For me Alamy sales are increasing more and more and I'm happy about it, because I feel that my work is valued there, besides not having images denied, for illogical reasons, like on the Shutterstock and iStock. 

Normally I do not disclose personal data,
but I think that in some way can help.
