All sites are getting slower in recent months. It would be an overall increase of sellers, and thus an increase in uploads?

For me, this month is not good on SS. Sales in the last month and this fell slightly.

GLStock / Re: GL Stock Images - So what?« on: May 13, 2016, 09:46 »How can you tell if they close your account? After I reached payout, I requested payment and asked to have the account closed. I received my money but a month later had another sale. I wrote them again saying I had previously requested my account be closed but that it was apparently still open. Never had any reply back. I went in again today and it looks as if it's still active. Ignore a request of those who give them the money to me is the limit of lack of respect. They never answered my email, for this reason among others, I will close my account. I found it on Seller Information Request to Close Account - You may request to close your account after 30 days. - Earnings of less than $50 at the time of closing will be forfeited. How many people closed their accounts without withdrawal the value below $50? So, is there a way to be millionaire with microstock even if the company goes bankrupt with the sellers out. That to me, bankruptcy is their case with that attitude. 30
GLStock / Re: GL Stock Images - So what?« on: May 12, 2016, 08:42 »I just requested my final payout and once they pay I am closing my account. $1-$2 a month is not worth anything to me, but I do give them a lot of respect and kudos for plowing through tough times and not cutting commissions. But unfortunately sales aren't there. How did you get? I'm asking to this email and no one answers. [email protected] Thanks! 31

Shutterstock.com / Re: The new low. Less than $14 for EL. Top earnings tier.« on: April 30, 2016, 13:14 »Just a reminder; if you opt out of ELs and a customer requests one, you will get e-mail from support asking if they can process it for you. You don't have to opt back in. I turned down one at $22 and accepted two at $40 each - my policy now is to say yes if the royalty is $28 or higher Wow nice!!! Why did not I think of that? I'll do that too. 34
Shutterstock.com / Re: Please let me understand... rejection criteria« on: April 08, 2016, 19:07 »I bet it is the design elements on the pavement. I think the ACS is right. I have had rejected images by SS, just for one Chinese writing on the vase at the image background. They demanded the translation to be accepted. I ignored because other sites accepted the same images. When the SS refused my images even though the possibility of reupload, I just ignore when the other sites accepted. I don't waste my time with nonsense. 35
New Sites - General / Re: 500px - Kelly Thompson strikes again« on: March 21, 2016, 17:46 »I try to avoid commenting on any agency here, but it seems to me if there were one outfit which really couldn't afford to pull this kind of stunt it would be 500px. A 40% cut in one fell swoop? Either it's a massively idiotic blunder or an orchestrated effort to cull the herd. Unfortunately it's their show and they can do whatever they want with it - just not with my stuff anymore. I've decided to join the cull. Deleted everything, closed my account and didn't even bother to read their "goodbye" email. Wow , incredible images (www.savourns.com), you will be one of several that will be missed in 500px, congratulations for the beautiful images 36
New Sites - General / Re: 500px - Kelly Thompson strikes again« on: March 21, 2016, 14:02 »3rd April, i will close my account. I just exclude 50% of my best images that I had put with no watermark protection. I was risking selling images without watermark, thinking on 70%. Now I'll probably delete the other 50% and maybe start putting images that are rejected by other macro and microstock. After the changes, I will think whether it is worth spending time with 500px. 37
New Sites - General / Re: 500px - Kelly Thompson strikes again« on: March 21, 2016, 13:21 »I think I'll focus even more on Alamy (50% share) now We should give positive point for those who value our work, so I always praise the Alamy, which is growing every year. 38
New Sites - General / Re: 500px - Kelly Thompson strikes again« on: March 21, 2016, 13:15 »To show my appreciation I am closing my account today. First I will exclude 50% of my images that are unprotected by logotype. Then I will study the case of closing my account too. It's a joke, to say the least 39

For me, not only Alamy, but 123RF and Fotolia are having an increase in gains, on the other hand SS is falling slightly.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Dreamstime Introduces Unlimited Extended Licenses« on: March 10, 2016, 16:43 »Funny thing. I get sales every day on DT. As soon as I turned off EL's I have yet to get a sale. Probably coincidence, but he's see what happens over the month. Same here, 41
General - Top Sites / Re: Alamy passed Fotolia??« on: March 10, 2016, 11:35 »
For me Alamy sales are increasing more and more and I'm happy about it, because I feel that my work is valued there, besides not having images denied, for illogical reasons, like on the Shutterstock and iStock.

Worse than the author create spam is the Shutterstock approve it, mainly because it's vector image that among all styles (photo, 3D, etc) is the easiest to change not needing similar varieties. Now 94958 49
