Is there even a possibilty to downlload the OWN images, youve uploaded on istock, and on shutterstock in the past?
I just realized, i deleted many, many images from my computer, and would like to get them back.

is it more worth to sell images(bitmap) on istock or does vectors have a better sell ?
aaand. which vectors are searched at this time? i remember, that my apply is always rejected when i tried to get them in..
images are accepted always everything but vectors noone of them

im must be really dumb, but i really cant find the new forum.
When im looking in the older forum on the istockphoto homepage directly, there is the message, that there is the new forum with a link "Contributor Community site."
so far so fine.
but where is now the forum, i cant see it.
theres just a login field, where i cant login - ist that forum now for gettyimages contributors only?

so i have the question as someone who gots no idea.
When is the best time to upload what?
when is the time to upload christmas photos,
" new year photos
" easter photos
" winter photos
" spring photos.
etc. ? :S

Isnt that the time where the pp-sales should start at istock ?
the last months i always got the numbers from it at the 5th - 8th of a month.
is it later now or did i just made no sales with it.

Is it a new thing on shutterstock that there are now limited result pages ?
i see it the first time after checking out after a long time the shutterstock portfolio site.
its showing me always only 10 pages (1000 result images)
is that new? isnt make this everything harder for new contributors ?
and older images that get no much DLs getting out of complete search?
(so far nobody is searching for 5 matching keywords at once)

really often read here, that the sales on the most agencys are coming after months-years.
the bigger numbers.
is it true, for everyone?
or depends that on anything?
and when after time first - how long have i to wait? and what is a good number of uploads per week or month?

i just realized that you can more detail the keywords on istock?
that means for example for the keyword "leaf" you can click the little plus symbol to choose there "oak leaf, birch leaf, banana leaf, whatever leaf"
really just found this today.
is it there already a longer time ?
could it be worth it to check it and detail the keywords more?
or is that just a waste of time in that case.

The poll here is a average from all together - i know that this is there.
i really want to hear from individually by each which agency is your top and which is your flop.
i see it often enough how somebody got more sales in 123rf as in istock - just as an example.
(because here the average is mostly istock is definitely higher)
for me its :
shutterstock : 20%
istock : 60%
dreamstime : 3%
fotolia : 5%
123rf : 10%
deposit : 2%
all information around this.

Is it even possible to apply to gettyimages (the macrostock page)?
and what are they actually looking for ? is there any information ?
btw i think nature images they will NOT search for hm ?

or is it much better to offer the images in microstock only

I think many guys have seen the guy who has posted the 123rf software that steals the images from the agency.
anyone already know, will it be soon for every agency?
isnt this meaning "stealing" and illegal ?
are there any rights for this?
im really afraid now about this if it worth it anymore to upload anywhere

i just played a bit with the White Balance.
in photoscape, just to try out something and i realized, when i safe the photo from photoscape the filesize is gonna reduced hard.
from 14,4 MB they left to 8,8MB.
safed quality at 100% and same image size.
any reasons known for that ?

How important is the correct white balance?
i never did anything with the white balance while the editing because i never thought it could be relevant.
Would it and how would it change - the chances to get it accepted to the agencies and sell it at least?
i ask this because i got often the comment, after my postings in the forum "wrong white balance"
- if you want - check any port out from me and tell me something to it.

got anyone a problem with 123rf else the last time ?
is it normal that they take, now nearly 2 weeks, for the review?
ive uploaded the images on the 18th this month and im still waiting for decides for my photos.

What you think how many themes should a portfolio haves as maximum? maybe "themes" is the wrong word.. i mean "genre" or a similar word. u know : nature,architecture,portrait,etc. (im bad in english and dont know the right words for my question yet, hope you understand this one anyway xD) Should i go for many themes? or better less or just one. ive got many differences in my port, if you checked you can see. does it make a change if i would reduce my port to 1,2 or 3 genres? maybe to nature,isolated object and landscape as an example ? or is it better to have much themes in it. aaaand : is it possible to order the images like on shutterstock with the catalog manager? i just think that this is really helpful and could the port look more organisated. okay, i dont know if its understandable what i wrote here.. im happy about every answer from you guys

ive heard so often here now, how someones have just 400 online images and over 200 sales.
ive nearly got 1000 in one agency and have only 30.
i got in begin of the year 2014.
is it just gonna bad for late starter or depends this to strong in the images?
i make much nature images.
is it worth it ?

wasnt there a site at shutterstock that showed top 50 or top 100 keywords and top images?
is this page deleted now or where can i find it.
and if its really gone, do you have ideas how i can find out the actually most popular tags/keywords ?
would be really usefull.

i just take a photo from a graffiti wall in a city in germany.
can i upload this picture now to a microstock agency and offer that or does this have a kind of "copyright".

maybe monthly would be good.
daily would be the best but monthly should be enough.

how long do you need for a single picture ?
or.. : how much time do you spend in one picture ?
just shoot and upload ?
or do you edit,retouch, etc it for longer time ?
you think its really worth to spend a day in one picture for "only" microstock ?
