Adobe Stock / Re: Aldobe stock earnings. Woohoo!!!!
« on: July 29, 2020, 11:55 »
Adobe, I forgot to tell this story....Happened last week in Austin. They did have a small BLM riot and the rioters had guns also. As I understand it one of the rioters had their AK-47 with them and put five rounds into a car in the Austin traffic. The car owner was not shot but did come out of his car and put one shot/round into the head of the AK-47 rioter. Sounds like the car owner will be no billed.   As he was just a Texan protecting his family..The Texas Way...

Since everyone is talking about America and world affairs. Isn't Adobe located in San Jose ,CA. I think they have had a lot of Un-Peaceful riots and protesters in the last six weeks or so.  I wonder how that has effected Adobe. Maybe it is time for Adobe to move to Texas. We all carry guns in Texas and we keep the peace. Funny how that works. I think San Jose has around 13 percent personal income tax. Texas has no income tax. Adobe you need to move to Texas....low taxes, low poverty and low crime.

Their Wall street Stock is up 17% this morning. I am up 27% for this month ..I will sell today...

54
Not sure this protest is working...SS Wall Street Stock is up 11% for the month of July....That is the money SS is really concerned about...

Once upon a time. SS paid me over 100 bucks for what i think we're  Enhanced Licence. I may have the name wrong but back in the day i got maybe 40-50 of those EL over 100 bucks. i think the highest was around 170.00..Those were the days.....Now I am just an old man....gumming my porage.

Hello,

The idea will be to raise funds to start a new agency where every one have 1 vote. The total cost will be:

- 1 dedicated server = 600/year with 8TB disk.
- License for control panel = 180/year.
- License for Sell Media plugin = 150/year.
- Website creation = Free (I will do it).
- 10h design/programming tasks = 3.600/year.
- Marketing fund to start = 3.000/year.

Total = 7.530

My portfolio is about 4.000 photos, 50GB of disk, so with about 7.500GB it could be 150 portfolios as mine, 600.000 photos in total.

- 50% commission for the photographer.
- and the remaining 50% would be for the agency: 30% for marketing and 20% to future growth.

Isn't perfect. But it can be done.

What do you think?

I would think you would need about 20,000E a year for legal fees and maybe 10,000E for liability insurance.

To sue you would have to show damages. SS gave you fair warning they were dropping payment to you the seller . Yes they drooped payment to almost zero. No one forced you to stay and get almost no money. I see no damages. I do see a company that is bad...but no damages.

But what if they went back to the old pay system. Would you take SS Wall Street stock as payment ?

No one's going to like this.....but what about being paid in SS Wall Street Stock and no 10 cents sh*t. Now I know a lot of you are saying what a stupid idea and yes it is but you must admit it is original...now you can use your bad words at me...

60
I can shoot 30 heads in two hours on a blue background. That is 150 an hour....That is less than a plumber make but more than most photoogs make.

61
SS Wall Street stock is going up today...I wonder why...

62
Sion, you may already do this but is so easy to make some fast money. Everyone needs a good social media head shot. Go to your local office building and setup sessions for 10 bucks a head with 10 heads minium. You can shot these so fast and 10 people will turn into 20-30 people. Just like shooting ducks in a barrel. All of a sudden you have made 300 bucks in two hours and this may turn into other photo work the offices need.

« on: June 04, 2020, 15:57 »
I just got a $2.00 and $13.34 sale on Dreamtime today. At the rate SS is going for me that will be three weeks total  sales on SS.

Astrantia,  no one wants to hear this also but it is true. My wife before she retired was a large buyer of images for a large corporation. She had accounts with Istock and SS. Her only goal was to find images that were correct for her assignment ASAP. She did not care what the price was as she has accounts already setup. All she wanted were images or illustrations that would work. We all think our images are special and they are to us. To my wife the buyer of images it was just a job finding images and she wanted to finnish her job so she could go home that day without working overtime that night.

65
Tpack you may be correct as i really don't know much about Wall Street. Then I don't know of many industries that go up 60-75% in sales/profit in one quarter. Even Amazon dose not reach those number. As in most situations the artist always lose and the jerks win. I just would love to win once in my life.

66
SSTK....That is the Stock Symbol for SS. What I am going to say no one is going to like but this is one way to make some of your money back from SS. I really can't figure out how much money I am going to lose from my photos at SS but it is quite significant. My 38 cents sells are now 10-17 cents each. My 2.85 sells are now 87 cents. So it looks like I will lose somewhere in 60-75 % of my sells /dollars from last year. If my math is even close to correct SS (SSTK) Wall Street stock will have a huge increase in profits(60-75%) . Which means their Wall Street stock will go up , a lot. Buy their stock SSTK now and sell it when it goes up. It will go up most likely. No this is not what anyone here on microstock group wants to hear but this is one way of getting some of your losses back. I really see no other way. If you stay on SS with your photos you will lose money, if you close your account you will lose money. Yes this is a creepy/sorry way to get your money back but I see no other way if you want your money back. Money is not everthing and yes I know dignity is important but neather of these items buys you food or photo equipment. i am guessing this post will get some haters.

67
Thanks, about Bill Gates...you are correct...

68
I may have this incorrect. Correct me if so. Wasn't IStock at on time owned by Bill Gates and he sold it to Getty ?? Maybe Amazon or Apple want to buy SS. They both have lots of cash on hand and SS would fit in their portfolo. Both are in the Movie industry and a Stock company makes sense..

69
Fast racer I am not sure what I am going to do with my SS account. I do know it is not worth time to upload new for 10 cents each. That I do know.

70
As of this week for the first time in 15 years my Adobe account is the highest paying of all the sites this week for me. I am guessing that will be the trend from now on. I have not canceled my SS account but will stop uploading new images.  At 10 cents a sell it just is not worth it to upload new images. I am at level 4 and I am now getting 10-14 cents an image. SS is truly dead....

71
Mat also SS has a direct button to share your SS portfolio on Twitter/facebook with one mouse click.... Can one be made for Adobe... Thanks, Scott

72
I just got my first 10 cent sale from SS on this photo. The good news, this has been a good seller and I have made a couple of thousand dollars of the lifetime of image. The next couple of thousand at 10 cents will take a long time.

My sells today are higher on Adobe than SS..Anyone else...

74
I don't know them but Crestock still owes me money from many years back. Crestock was such a waste of time...Will SS be the next Crestock ?

Question , I think I know the answer. Is any SS contributor/s on the board of Directors of SS. I assume not... If so why . not . Without Contributors you have no SS. Most Corporations have 6-15 board members. SS needs Photographer Contributors on their board. I do assure you this bad revenue decision was voted yes by the SS board of Directors..
