Microstocks are clever
They want us to believe that price and royalty rates reduction are a good things for us  ;D
It is always the same thing.  :(

The "price of life" increase but our commission decreasing
I waiting the moment when they will launch the yenphotoclub  ;D

Hi All,

I am here, My name is Ahmed Soliman. first of all i want to say sorry to you all and all authors that i have copied there work :'( but i want you to know that i didn't read terms and conditions carefully. I am not a thief

anyway all my accounts are now terminated and i lost all of my money. one small thing... you have destroyed my work that i am using since 2008 ... and this is how i eat me and my family.

Thank you
Soliman

If you are quick and really sorry maybe you could take down every file too closely inspired by other people's work on from the sites you are still on (like 123RF), then they may not shut down your account.

Apparently, he doesn't seem really sorry ....
All copy images from the other microstock are still online

Hi,

First, artists you have copied need to eat too.
Secondly, you work is consider as forgery and can be punishable by law, so be lucky to have just your account delete and not a possible lawsuit.

Copying a concept is something we see a lot of and is probably just part of the business.

Copying virtually every aspect of the staging and setup as well as the concept is plagiarism - even though they are different files in the most technical sense - and the copycat's account should be closed. It's just wrong, and with so many blatant examples, it's not an accident.

Does anyone know any of the creators of originals to send e-mails to? I would hope with complaints from the copyright owner there might be a response from the agencies (I assume this work is other places too?). As long as the copies sell, the agency may not have any real incentive to act - it doesn't hurt them. But the copyright owner could send a DMCA takedown notice for the copy.

an other screenshot and apparently he really like copy
now we can play to the seven mistakes game :)

35
Wow, I can forgive when it's a similar concept, but there is no arguing that they copied here

Yes, in this case, we can talk about counterfeit images.

36
You wonder when someone is that good at copying a work, why dont they create from their own imagination?

Yeah, I do.  Obviously they got skills.  At least if they can't come up with their own ideas, they should make it different enough to not violate copyright and get tossed off the site.

Hard for me to understand why someone with those vector skills would copy others so exact instead of doing his own vision of concepts.
They aren't vectors

They are small on my tablet.  If not vectors, they are some kind of drawing, right?

This is 3d stuff

i hope,
If someone can write to them, it will be cool

Merci microtalk, the reason i asked was because i have removed most of my images (including the ones on that website now) from fotolia a long time ago so i dont have much to talk to them.

Ah ok i understand :)
You can try with shutterstock,
More microstock agencies will know their illegal activities, more is better for us

Thanks microtalk. May i know why do you suggest fotolia and not other agencies?

I suggest fotolia because i'm french and their have a french support (more easier for me to keep contact) but you can report it to the agencies you want :)
I  opened a ticket on shutterstock too ;)

Hi asmai,

You can send DMCA notice to them or their host website (amazonaws.com)
And the better way is perhaps to report it to fotolia for collect a maximum of evidence against this website (make some screenshots of your images in their website)

Hello eyewave,

Because i sent them an e-mail to know if they are partner with microstock or if they bought commercial licence for use my images on your website.
And they don't want to answer me but they quicly remove my image from their website  ;D
SO i think they got them in warez site and sell them after in powerpoint template, so totaly illegal.
I already call to Fotolia to open a case with this problem :)
