Please join my topic in contributor forum. Unfortunately, there are only 3 big firms in microstock industry. Complaining to SS will not stop the fact that other companies are taking their customers. Look at the poll. Just a few years back SS was like 97! Now it is in the low 80's and it's going to get worse for them. Sure I've lost about 40% of my sales from just the last two years but that's life in the business world- nothing I can do but to move forward with the other companies or find work outside of the MS world

Please join my topic and share your experience in shutterstock contributor forums. i have a photo of dubai who was in first line in a search of more than 75000 image of dubai ...it sells everyday ..near 1000 sales, now slipped already in 2 page...and clearly not sold for the last days...thanks shuttestock. now i understand the lost of sales of last days...good job ss

Yes i mean POPULAR button. When did they remove this button? Sales are horror and i think it is not related to New year period. Wasn't there a MOST DOWNLOADED button in search page? I think they removed this button and it affected sales of most downloaded images. Now ı can only see MOST RELEVANT and FRESH CONTENT buttons. November sales are horror. I can not imagine December and the rest.
What about asking this subject to shutterstock admins in contributor forum?
You are thinking of "Popular" (there never was a MOST DOWNLOADED button) which never related to most downloaded, it was the result of a gobbledygook algorithm of newest, downloads and clicks which resulted in some form of relevancy according to SS.

I can see total sales and total earning of january I stopped uploading photos and i am gonna wait. I can see the sales and balance in Deepmeta. I can log in to gettyimages with my istock account but it looks like it is not a contributor account for getty. Are all the contributors buyers now? That's strange.
Is it possible to see (in Deepmeta) what kind of file was purchased or only number of sales and balance are visible?

Really? So, i don't have to register? I can get into the Getty Forum using my usual Istock login details. Perhaps you have something wrong?
The forums there appear to indicate that this is a temporary problem, and support provided this link to view stats for the time being: http://www.istockphoto.com/user_stats.php?id=000000&Offset=-1&DownloadsGraphFileType

I don't want to be exclusive. Some of my images are selling high in iStock. I am happy with fotolia and shutterstock. I will wait and see the sales for a few months.
