I think it depends on your portfolio.  Each agency has a different clientele.  My best sellers on one sometimes are never sold with the other.

At the moment, AS is doing better for me than SS but sometimes it is the other way around too.

Shutterstock.com / Shutterstock contributor side down?

Anyone else unable to download Shutterstock contributor URL?  Buyer side seems to be working.

Almost of them reject similars, even if differences--- depends on reviewers.  Sometimes FT reviewer chooses a different reason officially like exposure but since exposure same on accepted one, not the real reason.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Bad july.. How was yours?

better than June.

Photos on social media are stolen and copied.

I used to get lots of SODs.  Now, a few months ago there was a sudden drop to 0.
Just when I am so close to actually reaching a raise in commission.  Also a sudden drop in subscription sales though less drastic.

I have made more the last 3 months with agencies that others consider dead.

Those cheap chest/shoulder tripods are nice!

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Upload not working well

No issue uploading images.  Happening to me after submit button.

Nice sales.

I actually have a gorillapod somewhere.
My cell phone camera is junk-- never used it.

Subject will be moving and indoors.  One time event I cannot reshoot.

65
Might work if I heal fast and can get one in time.  Any recommendations?

I also have an issue in terms of raising and then lowering my arm as well as holding weight.

66
I fell hard down a flight of stairs or weekend. Fortunately nothing broken and rotator cuff ok according to dr.  Feet and leg better but my right arm and shoulder are in excruciating pain.  Cannot hold medium-heavy things. Range of motion not much though slowly improving.

Any ideas how to hold and use camera?  Tripod head with camera too heavy to control now.  Having my husband play assistant would not be fun.

Only need something temporary so do not want to spend a lot of money.  Need to photograph something Monday.

Photography Equipment / Re: Is Ebay a Waste of Time?

Have bought nice used lenses from eBay.

So what did I miss?  The e-mail starts "In light of recent events..."  Did I miss something?  What big event took place the brought this on?

Recent news stories of a photograph or two sexually harassing models inc. underage girls.

General Stock Discussion / Re: SS sales this week

Unusually bad week and month.  My typical lower earners are uncharacteristically bringing in lots of sales this month - more than top tier.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Big Stock
« on: February 20, 2018, 22:52 »
I have a fair amount of sales from Bigstock.
My commissions higher than what I get from SS fairly often.
I sell different images there than others so for me it is not just a repeat of SS.

Adobe Stock / Suddenly cannot log into Fotolia side
« on: November 19, 2017, 12:35 »
I prefer to upload via Fotolia side.
Today I am having to log into every website everywhere, I assume because of a browser update.
Using old links to indexing page on Fotolia, it still takes me to this Adobe pop up.  Grr.  Thee seems to be no way to get signed into the Fotolia side.  If anyone has ideas, I woyld appreciate it.  I prefer the Fotolia interface.
