They need photos, it's funny to see how they keep thinking only of them. They have not realized that this relationship is broken.

The design is good because it fulfills the function they want, hide the daily sales and focus on the annual total. It is the prelude to new reductions in royalties.

Today I see my first $0,04 sale. Wasn't there a minimum of 0.10?

I count on it. The day that happens, I will have to stop uploading content.

I was exclusive on pond5 so I didn't have any other video on Adobe. I'm uploading them now.

There aren't any as the "old" pond5.

As my livelihood does not depend on the stock, I have preferred not to collaborate with companies that I consider exploitative. Right now, I only submit content to Adobe Stock.

The asking price doesn't matter anymore on pond5. I closed my account and now I'm looking for an alternative, any ideas? Thank you.

A few days ago I closed my pond5 account since I didn't feel good receiving payments of 8$ for exclusive 4k videos. I was looking for alternatives to upload them, and I find this topic... now everything makes sense.

Do we have any alternative for editorial videos?

Thanks.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Deleting accounts/ports

Pond5: I deleted the images and was easy just that you need to contact support.

Dreamstime: They don't want you to delete them and you have to wait some time to delete all the port. They take the remain money on account.

I also had a SYM and I also suffered it, although now it seems to have more options/improvements.

However, on the one hand, there is a millionaire business and on the other, we who receive alms.

Can't we do anything to improve it? really?

So, we can do anything?

Hello,

The idea will be to raise funds to start a new agency where every one have 1 vote. The total cost will be:

- 1 dedicated server = 600/year with 8TB disk.
- License for control panel = 180/year.
- License for Sell Media plugin = 150/year.
- Website creation = Free (I will do it).
- 10h design/programming tasks = 3.600/year.
- Marketing fund to start = 3.000/year.

Total = 7.530

My portfolio is about 4.000 photos, 50GB of disk, so with about 7.500GB it could be 150 portfolios as mine, 600.000 photos in total.

- 50% commission for the photographer.
- and the remaining 50% would be for the agency: 30% for marketing and 20% to future growth.

Isn't perfect. But it can be done.

What do you think?

Thank you.

SS are dead, but they don't know it :D

It has happened to me too, and the most ironic thing is that they pay more for these unauthorized downloads than for the normal ones. My account will be suspended forever.

Hello,

I sent them some videos to one brief 5 weeks ago and I'm not getting any reply to my mails. Is it abandoned? Does anyone know if they are still there?

Thank you.

I like the idea: simple and easy to understand.

However, I don't know if buyers like it too. The buy process will be longer and the buyer could get too much images by email.

I have servers and can do that simple webpage and setup a mail list for that.

The demo it's down.

I like what Africa studio did. It help me to stay with the portfolio deactivated.

They asked me the same:

Per our Contributor terms of service, Content removed or opted out of licensing by a contributor may accrue additional royalties for up to 90 days following its removal or opt-out. This occurs when Shutterstock upgrades licenses to certain customers that previously downloaded "comp" versions of the removed Content before such Content was removed or opted-out.

I never had a $6. 5 sale for this image before.

Hello,

Anyone knows why?

I sent a mail to SS asking that because I don't want to. My photos are on their website after 16 days.

Thank you.
