When I set my own price for a video....let say 50 dollars.....Will I earn 50 dollars for each download.....or 50 dollars is the price the buyer will pay?  ( in the latter case I will earn 50%....am I right??) Thanks again

Hello,
I joined P5 yesterday and I am a newbie at video.
I have no idea about price to be set for my first uploaded video, so I opt for automatic solution and P5 set it to 10 dollars. Is Price right, low, high? I saw lots of video with preice set to 40 dollars. What is your strategy, if any? Can you give some hints?
Another question about the price too. Does it increase with the numbers of download, or is it fix?

It's confusing how the page is set up, but those two numbers are for buyers, not contributors.
From the main page, go to the bottom of the screen and select "more" from the contributor column. Then select "downloads" and you'll see what images have been sold.

Two questions:
1)Starting from my dashboard page, where I have to click in order to see what images I sold (I don't mean Earnings Balance)?
2)In the upper right corner of the page "my portfolio" I see "Your Balance" set to ZERO dollars and ZERO cents, while my earnings are different from zero. Why?

I joined to SS, IS, FT and DT (the top four agencies).
Now I want to add other two or at most three agencies.
It has to be an agency with a light uploading and keywording processes and (obviously) where photos and vectors sell (even if at a low rate than the big four agencies).
I don't have any videos to sell so I am not interested in agencies where videos are pushed.
Based on your personal experience, what is your advice?

Thanks for your answer but once I upload via FTP I go to the site and I dont have the possibility to select which file has to be processed. It processes all the files in the root directory of the server...  (

I have a problem.
On other agencies I usually upload bunch of mixed files (photos and vectors) via ftp. When I go on the site all files are ready for indexing.
In 123rf things looks strange or maybe I didn't understand something on uploading process.
After I uploaded bunch of mixed files I go on 123rf site and click on FTP Upload and then I have to chose between vectors or photos.
If I opt for photos all the files (even vectors) are considered photos....and this is wrong.
Am I wrong on somenthing in uploading process?

Woow in front of your earnings I am speechless.....I started one month ago and I have more or less 400 files on SS and I see only sales of 0.25....and rarely 1.88...in order to hit 2000$ I should sell more or less 5000 files on month....it is impossible!!!

I just wonder how much loss in earnings can I expect from DT due to dropping exclusivity :-)

I am new in SS, I come from DT.
I realized soon that my Earnings in DT are much higher than SS.....I mean that with one only credit sale in DT I can get much money than lots of subscription sales in SS.
I looked at poll result concerning earnings and I see that SS is the uncontested number one, so I wonder how is it possible?? Maybe the difference is the number of sales?

More or less same situation.
I started to uploading on other agencies two weeks ago.
In two weeks I uploaded 300 files on SS and on FO too. On SS 170 sales, on FO 3 sales. Hope things will change soon otherwise I will stop to spend time on FO.
