Which countries, invaded by Hitler, had millions of casualties in WWII?

1. Soviet Union ~ 20M
2. Poland ~ 5.8M
3. Yugoslavia ~1.7M

..."nice" statistics - 27.20 M people killed for no reason at all... Be more careful with this numbers - those are innocent people, women, children... mostly Slavs and Jews...

27.20 M - only in those three countries. Total numbers are much larger ~73M.

Yes. You're supporting them by supporting inaction.
.

My point is we have to stop not only ISIS, but also possible such group that can appear in future. If you cannot understand what I say, I don't want to argue with you. I know how bad terrorism is as many people in my country seriously affected by that. World can be a better place if we can stop terrorism completely, not temporarily.

I find it disappointing so many people here don't support doing anything about ISIS. They control land and have a standing Army.

Who armed them?

Who create them?

People like this have always existed. They have just gone by different names like *, Communists, Socialists, etc.

You are afraid of being a victim of ISIS, but you refuse to understand the truth behind the whole thing. You just want to stop them somehow. It doesn't work in that way. Even you stop them, there will be another group supported by someone for some reason and they will continue what ISIS is doing now. You have to kill the cause, not the result.

ISIS is the cause. The murders in Paris are the result.

Your little brain... People like you have always existed. They have just gone by different names like *******

Typical. Leftwing people always bring out the insults when they disagree with people. Did I insult you? No. I just have a different point of view. You should go join ISIS. You would fit in.

No one here like or support ISIS. But some people did, and keep doing....

It says you have been a member since 2013. How many times have you tried to get 7 files accepted?

Anyway, congratulations!!! Hope your perseverance will lead you to success.

Try to find a niche, may be some work reflecting Pakistani culture.

Why europeans are not allowed to have a country of their own?

Why Europeans, together with Americans, want to put finger into matters of every other countries?

Strange, on Firefox, no watermark and on IE a watermark. Not sure what is going on.

I see a watermark on Windows Firefox. Do you mind showing us a screen capture of what you see in your Firefox?

If someone is still not pleased with the outcome, the only thing left to do is to delete your portfolio. Bottom line.  ;)

Mostly I am glad that the watermark has been improved and I don't have to delete MY portfolio.

SS definitely made some effort, but it's not enough. Even they didn't give proper responses to contributors complains rather than sending same email to everyone. Just because of watermarks look better on your photos doesn't mean that others have no right to complain about theirs. Would you delete your port if you were a victim? If so, you should be ashamed to complain about anything here, but just delete your port.

The thumbnail images on iStock's pages just grew by 50%, and the large preview is gigantic. Looks like a preview war is on.

or let's see which agency is better at scr*wing our contributors???

At the moment it's SS. Both IS and 123RF provide large previews, but with far better watermarks compared to SS.

They reviewed 20 images yesterday, it took a couple of weeks.

Great, at least they are still functioning...

edit: Just sent another email to support complaining about...can't get to the forum to see the Progress thread on the watermark either.

It works for me on chrome and IE, have you tried those?
Try them if you want to read stupid black burnt comments  ;D

They have almost completed rolling out V2 watermark. Only few images left in my port with V1 watermark.

When you click preview button, it shows a medium size preview. I'm OK with that size of preview. But one can easily get that large preview (1500px) just by right clicking on that medium size preview. If SS just wants to show a medium size preview, what's the point of releasing those large images?

If it is medium size preview, I think current watermark is effective on most of the images, but definitely not on all. I don't want them to have those 1500px previews by any means. So, I too think an opt out option is essential.

All my images get reviewed but it usually takes two - three weeks

Good to hear that.
Have you got any images reviewed recently? Within last week, may be?

I have around 100 images not been reviewed for more than 3 months now. I tried to reach them via email. For the first couple of emails, they replied that they would review them soon, which they never did. For my last email they even didn't reply. Have they started to close the shop? Anyone got any photos reviewed in last couple of days?

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock acceptance rate
« on: November 04, 2015, 06:40 »
Depends how you count, if you count images accepted against unique images submitted, not how many times an image has been submitted

if you submit 1 image and it gets rejected twice and accepted once, you have 1 image online, 100%

I see.... So that's how you end up with 80% acceptance for photos?

197
Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock acceptance rate
« on: November 04, 2015, 05:27 »
Submitting 3 times to get the photos accepted gives you a high acceptance rate but also indicates a problem with the review process

How come? That means it has already been rejected twice. So the acceptance rate is down to 33.33%. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This thread is a total contrast of that long long thread of complains on SS rejections. It seems like SS haven't rejected much  ;)
Probably it's two different set of contributors posting in these two threads.

Looked at their payment page, and now the highest SOD payment listed is $28.

up to $120

I think you are talking about EDs.

At the moment, SS doesn't bother to inform us what they do with our files. They think they can do whatever they want and we are happy with earning pennies.
