I signed up with twenty20. The files are not exclusive right? I cannot find anything about exclusivity on their site.

Ill upload the files that are not exclusive to eyeem plus a few other things that interest me.

Well see what happens.

I have started to reprocess some of my older series with the smartphonelook. Might give them a new life.

Eta: got a reply from their support that everything is non exclusive.
Twenty20 is for iphone only isnt it? did you make something there and on eyeem?

Three sales through the SMART collection by Westend61, netting me 130 (about $150).

A few sales with mobile shots on Stocksy United, not sure because I don't really remember which of my shots were mobile or from my Sony NEX.

A handful of sales through Fotolia Instant. I don't track separate sales on Shutterstock and others.

Quite a few sales on EyeEm/Getty over the last year.

Just started a mobilestock experiment on my blog three weeks ago where I upload on Snapwire, Twenty20, Foap etc. First sale on Twenty20 for $1.
the westend61 sales look great but i think it much harder to get a sale in there compare to Instant fotolia isnt it?
can you please send a link to your mobilestock experiment on your blog?

Disappointing to see some of them only have iPhone app :(
I have uploaded some editorial photos taken from my phone to SS and 123RF as regular uploads. One of them has 100+ sales,  another with 50+, and many with 10+.
Yea i dont get it , why Android isnt getting the support it deserve to...

I am on Stockimo, 3 sales so far.
i heard that  you get paid very well on every sale on Stockimo , is that right?

DT has been my best earner for iPhoneography.
I also have images on Fotolia Instant and Stockimo but no sales on either yet.

EDIT: a couple sales on Fotolia Instant with 7 images.

My best iPhone earner on DT sold again last week for $10.38 - it's an editorial image that is usually licensed as a credits sale. Nice to make a little extra from iPhoneography. I've also had iPhone images that I've uploaded to Alamy as reportage zoomed on recently so I'll have to see how they do. "m not turning in my Nikon yet LOL

I dont really like the mobile DT , its like dead for me , i mean i dont even get views on pictures after the photo isnt consider new.
how many photos you have on your DT porfolio and how much did you do in there?

Adobe Stock / Re: Is it worth to be exclusive at Fotolia?
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:22 »
I have 1 exclusive image at FT that was rejected by SS.
It became my #3 bestseller there and I get much more per credit sale (not subs).
If most of my sales are subs sales , is it worth to become an exclusive?

Adobe Stock / Is it worth to be exclusive at Fotolia?

I really need your help, my main agency right now is Fotolia and i have some photos that sell really fine so i saw an option to make a specific photo to an exclusive photo.
but i just didnt understand what will i get from doing it?
I will get more money per photo but the buyer will have to pay more ? (If thats true it can hurt the profits..)
or the "taxes" Fotolia takes from each photo will be smaller and i will get more % of the profit per photo and the price will stay the same?

And what is your best mobile earners?
Rate the apps:
EyeEm

P.s you can upload mobile photos to SS and IS too but not through an app , you can just upload them regulary by the internet.
So tell us what is your top mobile earners and what app is your best.

I am a new microstocker and photographer and i upload to fotolia and dreamstime photos i take in my phone and my camera(pretty bad one but leave it for a moment) and i started to see improvement in fotolia when i reached the 50 photos porfolio , i got like one sale per week and at this time nothing at DT.
I realised that when you upload photo to DT you get views (and maybe few sales) and then your photo is like gone , when it is the newest people will see it but few days later and the photo worth nothing.
I stopped uploading to DT because that reason(got 1 sale with 50 photos portfolio) and right now at Fotolia i get sale every two days and this is a huge difference for me.

Cameras / Lenses / Re: Help me to choose my first DSLR
« on: October 13, 2015, 05:28 »

Hi nadavgs, for sure you don't have to go full frame right at the beginning. So proposing a Canon 6D as a "start up" machine doesn't make sense.
Try finding a small Nikon like 5200/5300 and get it with the 18-105 mm kit lens. This lens performs quite good and it is affordable. When you earn
your first dollars you can think about getting some prime lenses, maybe the 50 mm f/1.8 or the 35 mm f/1.8. It all depends on your preferences.
Those two lenses aren't too expensive. Or maybe have a look at the m43 camera range where you can surely get a used Olympus EM 5 / EM 10 for small money.
And then try to master Photoshop. This is essential  :D

I can get the d5200 with 18-55 vr i or d3300 with 18-55 vr ii lens , and i dont know if it worth it but i can add 100$ to get the sony a6000 with kit lens.
Will i get a lot of rejection with these camera?
These cameras will help me get much better sale? (Now im getting on fotolia maybe 2 sales per week with smarphone shots)

P.s i already know how to use photoshop , i design logos and banners and i made a lot of soccer art, i will upload my deviantart when i will be on the computer and the fotolia portfolio too

I've sold a few iPhone photos via DT - I uploaded them for one of their "Assignments" and a couple sell fairly regularly.

I just joined Stokimo (Alamy's iPhone app/site) and Fotolia Instant a couple weeks ago - have a handful of photos on each - no sales yet. I see on the Alamy forum that Stockimo photos are selling for prices that are all over the map - from cheap to decent amounts. That's it for my limited experience, would love to know others' experience. I asked if anyone was on Fotolia Instant here before and got no response - hope you'll learn more.
Im using DT and Fotolia Instant on my galaxy s4 and after a month got 50 accepted in both and sold 4 in fotolia 1 in DT.
I download SS app now and i will start uploading to there and i will update

As a begginer in photography i want to choose one of those :  Nikon d3300, Canon eos 700d or Nikon d7000 , their price are almost the same in my country and i need you to help me to choose one of them and help me with choosing good lens ( i heard the kit lens arent so brilliant) .
I like to photograph landscapes, people , portraits , closeup photos of little animals or things like that.
I hope this information will help you to help me.

"i know that sometimes there are attacks by hackers that steal information of people in the internet , maybe you just forgot those things?"

That's irrelevant.  To do business, the companies you do business with need your information.

Well, good luck.
you are not wrong, but the danger is still exist.

If you are only looking for money to buy a coffee now and then your smartphone may be OK.  If you are serious about trying to make some additional income then your smartphone isn't likely gonna get it done, and you are going to have to get on at Shutterstock.

You will likely need to upgrade to one of the cameras discussed in the thread below:

http://www.microstockgroup.com/24254/24254/msg406032/#msg406032

Some sites have mobile only sections and their may even be some mobile only sites, but I have never heard of anyone paying their rent, and other living expenses solely from pictures from a mobile phone.

you right, i will get a better camera soon but i just want to understand this market before i get the camera.for example to know what kind of photos will sell more and what not.

So sick of these threads,
so sick of snapshooters,
so sick of copycats,
so sick of newbies who just want to make easy money,
so sick of this new generation of wannabe photographers,
so,so,so sick!!!

i dont care what you think , your comment is useless , im new and i will ask whatever i will want to.

Stop using slogans like "the right direction to success",we are not living inside an agency advertisement or a miraculous 5 days workshop, and you'll propably get somewhere sooner or later.Where will that be who knows.

you didnt understand me, i mean that maybe i upload photos that will never sell and i need help to know what photos are useful for costumers.

If you love to make pictures and you want to make stock images, you should. But you have to be really serious about it! You have a lot to learn. I suggest start learning the stock industry and decide how serious you are. If you haven't give up until Christmas buy a camera when they are cheaper. I guess you are going to shoot what you like but that's not a problem at all. I am constantly surprised what sells and what doesn't at stock sites. And you don't have to be a professional photographer neither... unfortunately. So if you are serious (3rd time) you have a very good chance to earn the money for the dslr you are soon going to buy in the next couple of years.

thanks man, you mean that there is no specific kind of photos that sell and everything in general every photo has the chance to sell, sounds great!
i really love photographing and i think there is no way i will stop doing it.

you wont see any improvements if you don't open your mind

Okay, but how is it expressed ?

You have to give to receive !
You have to read to know how !
You have to learn to be better !

You have to be more specific because i dont understand you !

When you make payout at Fotolia and Dreamstime you will need to give them your info including a license or passport.
Without a link to your portfolio, it's impossible to give you any other advice.

im little scared to give my passport in the internet but ill probably do that at the right time(soon)
i will upload the portfolio soon , everything in there is from my mobile so i know the image quallity isnt the best.

(SS and IS wants passport , and i think it isnt a good idea to give it)

Why?  What do you know that 50,000 other contributors don't know?

i know that sometimes there are attacks by hackers that steal information of people in the internet , maybe you just forgot those things?
