i ve been seeing many images on adobe from the royal wedding so i am guessing adobe takes editorial? or the pics needs to be commercial free.if i post a part of an architectural building like windows of some bank for eg are they gonna reject it couse the photo needs to be ed? and my second question is the title caption.first you write the title of the image and then the caption? or you only write the title .i got some rejections lately and i am guessing if maybe that was that reason that i didnt write the caption or the title.

all of you who have sales in eyyem and twenty20 are from photos with people in it?

twenty20 is a let down for me.i ve been with them since 2014 but only managed to sell an illustration i did 8 times.that was something.they host different challenges for 20 to 40 bucks the big price lol but i feel that people vote for each other and so dont expect to win anytime soon.for 20 bucks i really dont care eyyem is a very good alternative for me apart from some annoying rejections without any reason.the only downside is the no use of watermark in the pics.and there is always a chance your pics might get stolen.but i like that they are paying more than the 25 p you will get in ss .as for the premium.the pics that are selected for premioum that means that eyeem show them to getty and other sites like adobe but mostly getty and then they go for another review and so if getty accepts the image you get the congrats mail your pic is on getty .or if it gets rejected your pic stays in the market which you only get 2 dollars for each sale or 5 dollars i am not sure also is the wait period. if your pic is selected for premioum you might wait for months till your pic reviewed by getty.i had a pic selected to getty for sale afer 1 year i posted to eyeem

i had 909 files there some of them watermarked from stock sites like twenty20.i forgot about this site and if it wasnt for this thread i would lose my head.went im and deleted all my files.I can see this site as a backup drive becouse unfo i almost lost many images that i didnt back up till the last min when my computer crashed few months ago..but on the other hand this site is the perfect site to steal your content and use it without any credit to the artist. So i am not even gonna pay them for that. flicr is like instagram just put your cat doing the justin bieber song and you will earn one of those idiotic badges lol like i read above .

actually in sites like FAA which is the best for now if you wanna go pod lol you dont have much chances of getting many sales there unless you upload a certain kind of images. pictures for eg that someone would hang on their house wall or bedroom.you have to post artsy images or fine art images.if you put the same images you have in ss for instance ss is the winner in sales and you have to pay them each year 35 bucks .so what Pod sites want and stock sites want in photography are totally different. Also i am not sure if POD sites do editorial.

clickasnap its a site where you post your best pics and for every view for 5 seconds you are getting paid, in pennies of course ,But you have to reach the 25 bucks for a payout. They also have a market place but you pay them 3 pounds i think a month like In FAA but there its 35 per year .that is for people who didnt know about this site my qs if anyone here who knows this site do you upload your pics there?i started putting some images but law res files couse there is always the pics theft. but im still not sure for the market place if people makes sales there what do you think of this site

So Basically, it doesn't really help stock photographers sell their images.
on the other hand i ve read in the fine art america forums that some people had sales couse they advertised their work in instagram.so its not a total waste of time.

well getty asks for ecxlusivity so in a way if you wanna contribute to getty but dont wanna hold into this kind of agreement, eyeem is a way to go and that is if they accept your pics as premium couse some pics they still put them in the market section .the downside is that if you make a big sale with getty you get close to 100 bucks couse the rest goes to eyeem

ok guy peace dont fight we are all brothers in this world vlassis dont bother with agencies and rejections.if your work was accepted in ss the first place and istock maybe? then why bother if adobe rejected the pics. my guess is they are looking for the most sellable pics and unfo meteora is not one of them.If you posted pictures of corfu or santorini or mykonos or athens you d had more sales.truth to be told.

my guess is all these sites in the end of the day are competitive to each other so maybe their reviewers look at your portfolio in ss for instance and when you submit them the same image they reject it couse they wanna sell photos that you cant get in ss its not always about technical errors in an image.

Have anyone tried this site/app? It looks interesting to me but I'm thinking my pictures are open to a little bigger risk of getting used without paying. And on the other hand there are usualy used completly other type of photos that usualy don't sell very vell, since stock photo and artistic photos are (usualy) two different things.
Anyone tried this? Anyone have to say anything about this? Good? Bad?
this site is good for competitions and if you are lucky enough for your picture to be part of a photo expedition round the world.i post images there but i would never post these images to microstock sites so i dont care.its fun and kinda refreshing compare to the micr sites where you have to write the right keywords and titles and handle their moronic rejections when you post an image to internet people will steal if from you even in ss they now steal pics and use them so dont let it bother you much. You can try it but i advice not to post images you have them on sale in ss for eg

It depends on the image. If you can identify and correct the specific technical issue it's generally OK to resubmit one time. If you are unsure what the technical issue is, I recommend you post the image here and ask for some feedback before resubmitting.

Thanks Mat, that's what I did. Went back to the original image, checked, cleaned, cropped different, adjusted white balance. It looks pretty good now... rejected for Grain/Noise. I think I'm getting closer. Does Adobe have a win a new monitor and par of stronger glasses contest? I could use both.
as for noise you can use Photoshop to remove it and the PH app topaz it does wonders and in lightroom you can remove the nouse but unfo when you turn up the slider you are losing some details.
