when i visited ny 2 times i took loooooooooooooots of pictures and now most of them i put them in the agencies and nobody said anything hehe the thing is when you will visit us you have to be really careful what you shoot. and how you are gonna photograph the subject. i ve seen many videos on youtube where photographers in ny mostly, they were harassed by police officers and now becouse of the whole terorrism paranoia things are very tight in taking photographs all the time, also you have to careful when you are doing street photography.Try to avoid to take photos of some certain buildings or even malls.and most of all do not take pics of people doing things unless you have a telefoto lens and you are shooting from a far distance also try to take pics in tourist places or try nature like sea sky or animals or even dogs or pets.

if you go to the eyem site and upload the images from there they give you some keywords which you can change them if you want to and you can describe your photos only if you upload from your cell then you cant keyword the image

How To Contact Fotolia Reviewing Team:
You must travel to a small town in the north of France called Vismes. On the outskirts of town, nestled within a small stand of trees, you will find a cabin. The door to the cabin is hidden and can only be seen at sunset. When the failing light illuminates the edges of the door, knock three times. The door will open. How? No one knows since no one has ever been seen inside the cabin to answer the knock. It just opens.
Inside you will find an elevator. Don't worry about which button to push, there is only one. It will take you down. It will seem like you are going forever but just when you think it can't possibly go any deeper, you will arrive at your destination.
When the elevator opens you will find yourself in a tunnel leading to three different rooms. Enter the centre room. DO NOT under any circumstance set foot in the other rooms. Inside the centre room you will find a series of puzzles you must solve. Don't ask how, they are always different. If you manage to solve the puzzles a wall will slide open and a small desk, complete with writing paper and a pen, will present itself. Write your message to the reviewers there. You must phrase every sentence in the form of a question and sign it with the name "Albion", it's just how they've always done it.
Once you have completed your message, seal the letter in an envelope, oh by the way you must bring an envelope with you, and place it into the slot on the opposite side of the room. Immediately exit and do no look back. The elevator will be waiting for you and if you have done everything correctly you will know by the fact that no one will ever respond.
thanks for pointing that out.i booked tickets.see you in 6 months

i used to upload to eyeem and i had 5 sales.but unfo many photos that they choose for the market they go through gettys market and that means they want exclusivity.so if you upload a sellable picture to eyemm it will be licenced through getty and you ll have to remove it from the other sites. its a nice platform but with gettys exclusivity its a problem

actually its funny that i saw this thread couse i got a rejection note from istock today becouse my pic had some ships in it in the background in the thames river in london.i didnt see any logos on the ships but still they saw it as a copyright thing. so i guess the agencies are now picky when they review a picture with buildings in it or any other thing. just dont upload it and sell it somewhere else.

well as far for the likes you mentioned, one of my pics on 500px had many likes, went into popular catagory, and after a little while it was sold as a prime.so i guess the too many likes and favs and comments helped a bit.

i ve been uploading pics to their iphone app since 2012 and i had only 1 sale.you cant upload your photos from your laptop pc but only from your phone.its similar to eyeem.but the thing is they keep the half .they sell the pic for 10 bucks and you take 5 bucks and they keep the rest. the only good thing is the challenges they host and the money are from 300 to 1000 dollars but its 1 winner to thousant entries. so what are your thoughts of this agency

hi i am new to this forum and quite happy i found it.anyhow i ve submited my pics to some agencies< in ss they rejected me so i didnt bother with them for second time specially of all the things i ve heard about them>.and then i found the Eyeem app for the iphone and the Eyeem market I used it for some time now.and i just wanna ask if you submit your photos there as well. One thing i dont like about the eyem is that when you add your photos to their market then they are not allow you to submit the pic anywhere else.so some of my best sellers images i havent put them yet becouse of that But the thing i like is that they accepted all of my pics so far while sites like dt and fotolia make it diff for me to have a big portofolio there becouse of their silly rejections. But i was wondering what are your thoughts of this site.i havent seen a thread for eyem here thats why i am asking thanks
