Shutterstock.com / Become a Shutterstock shareholder
« on: June 12, 2020, 02:18 »
A very naive little question, no doubt. We are thousands of contributors, how many Shutterstock shares would we need to weigh in on the company's decisions?... No doubt there are specialists in this forum who will explain to me why this suggestion is really naive, but hey, you can always dream  :)

After 2 days under the new tariff regime. A simple observation, I have a 15k portfolio and I'm in L5... I lost a little more than a third of my usual income. I work mainly with models and the cost of the productions is already lowed to the maximum to still produce quality images. I would like to hear the voice of the big image producers, with their teams of stylists, retouchers etc ... plus the cost of the models. How do they see the future with 30% less revenue... If this trend continues.

It's time for AS to make good proposals for the contributors. I would be willing to become exclusive with them if they knew how to be attractive enough. And what a pleasure it would be to kick Shutterstock's a**...

Adobe Stock / Fotolia Adobe Account Synchronization
« on: May 18, 2020, 08:03 »
Hello,
I have a friend who didn't sync her Fotolia account to Adobe Stock when it was possible. She would like to do it now but since she already has an Adobe ID it seems impossible. I know she has contacted technical support, but they keep telling her to do the same procedure which seems to work only if you don't already have an Adobe ID.
Has anyone ever had the same problem?
Thank you

Hi, Sean,
can you tell me if Stocksy also accepts"cinemagraph"  video loops ? And if so, where can I find the technicals specs
Thank you and happy holidays to all of you :)

It's a recurring problem, it happens to me all the time and there's no logic. Once again last week I have the first part of a series that has been accepted without any problem and this week the photos of the same series with the same release model are refused "not valid model authorization".  No need to contact a moderator the last time I did it I got an answer after about ten days telling me that I needed to attach a "valid model authorization" I think he hadn't even read my explanations. Since then I send my images back several times if necessary and they end up being accepted. It's a huge waste of time, but I don't have any other solution to propose. :(

Shutterstock.com / problem with modele release
« on: September 07, 2018, 02:01 »
For the past two months, my photos have been rejected by Shutterstock for problems  of modele release for the different series offered :-\. I checked them over and over again. I know they are perfectly filled and until now I had no problem..... I use the shutterstock version for all agencies and my photos are accepted everywhere without any problem. Does anyone know what's going on?

Adobe Stock / Re: Keyword order in Lightroom
« on: April 03, 2018, 04:12 »
Mat thanks a lot for your answer,
Beyond the important time spent prioritizing keywords I wonder about the relevance of the system. We know that the first keyword "weighs" the heaviest and that the 7th has practically no more impact in the search engine. This means that for a given theme, for example a family on the beach, all contributors, if they do their job well, will use the same or almost the same keywords.
At present with tens of millions of images covering the most popular themes and the growing number of new images arriving every month how the buyer can find what he is looking for without spending a crazy time looking through pages of images.
Not prioritizing keywords may allow more creativity in the search by allowing the buyer to choose from 20 or 30 keywords.
What do you think?

Adobe Stock / Keyword order in Lightroom
« on: March 30, 2018, 02:58 »
Hi Mat,
An improvement that would change the life of the poor contributor entering his images on AS, the possibility on Lightroom (I think 95% of photographers work on it) to choose the order of keywords, alphabetical or by order of entry.

It would be revolutionary and would save incredible time.

I know it doesn't depend on Adobe Stock directly but since Lightroom is an Adobe creation I guess the developers have to cross paths at the coffee machine from time to time ;)

I don't think it's very complicated to put this system back in place already existed on an oldest version of Bridge (another Adobe production)

Hello
I'm having a hard time uploading my photos to the Stocksy site, there are 2 or 3 that pass and then it crashes. I don't see any ftp server available.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thank you

with a portfolio of 10k at shutterstock you can expect to earn about 3000$ per month. What about Stocksy's?

Wow, what a question. It would help if you included which kinds of images you shoot and perhaps an example :)

Hello,
I am one of the many dissatisfied with Istock. I haven't had any payment for 2 months and no reply to the emails I sent :( I can't connect to my portfolio either.
If someone has a solution to propose she'll be welcome

I do not find the way to select multiples images on AS and edit keywords one time for similar images... is it possible ?

What the heck is going on!?
DON'T
PANIC

It's just another programming problem which seems to be an inevitable effect of "improvements" to microstock sites.

My sales were ridiculously low yesterday, after several strong days, so I wonder if there's more to the bug than just Error 502
Sale thing for me
