They've done something that's for sure... we are seeing very low sales on our side. Sad January this will be.

It is pretty easy, when you find a workflow that suits you. Tagging is the least of the concern when you live from stock production.

Remember kids, it started with monkeys, soon they'll have to ban all animals in un-natural environment (cats, dogs, hamsters, birds...). It will be a great day for creativity.

the purpose of this is to feed the highest ranked contributors which are paid in five-digit incomes and more for their work. Why feed the bottom part. Even governments rather take more money from the low and mid paid workers than millionaires.

that means you can do 4 transfer per time. Or rather 3 transfers per time, because it count's your ftp software connection as 1 too.

Whatever you did to your Adobe importing system, you broke it. We import data with CSV metadata and since your update, there are random files that don't read from metadata correctly. It even gives completely wrong keywords.
Please send me an email with specific details and I'll look into this.

thanks,
Mat
We did consider emailing about the problem, but we rather manually overwrite wrong keywords and copy-paste the missing titles. That is why now you wouldn't able to recreate the problem. Maybe with our next import we will print-screen the problem.

Hi everyone,
I would like to know your most honest opinion if we should use video to promote our company services to increase the earnings?
Thanks in adcance. The video only increases the earnings of the one shooting video. Your welcome.

wait till the "ghost-busters" arrive at your topic. They will destroy your first-hand experience of how an algorithm is capping your sales. "It is all in your head" they will say. Naive people, that don't know what you can do with technology. We know about the same algorithm sales capping crap from SS, which is less noticeable than this from Adobe. At SS you have less noticeable but constant sales, which are slowly increasing yearly. We never had over 100 sales in a month (with almost 13000 video files), but we are near this number. Maybe in 2018 we will finally reach it.
Even Pond5 has some kinda capping algorithm. We even experienced 14days no sales (we have 13000 files?!) and then full-throttle another 14days of sales. The worst is when a whole month has almost no sales and then another month is very good.

keep the 6D and buy GH5 with metabones speedbooster for Canon lenses. You'll have a good photo camera(6D) and a much better video camera (GH5). The 5D MarkIV is a crap video camera. Canon intentionally degraded the video support on photo cameras to favor the Cinema line of video cameras.

I thought you'd boycotted Storyblocks? Or are you talking from a 'your feelings on them as an agency' point of view, rather than actual sales figures?
we tried a set of about 2k files for another test if anything changed. It still earns only $33 per clip (which is worse than Pond, and just little better than SS) and sales are rarer than winning a lottery ticket.

In our case it is low-mid earner. While Pond is mid-high and SS is high earner. We see some improvement in sales at Adobe stock, but it is still very unstable earner. Oh, Storyblocks is crap compare to it.

Has anyone figured out why some clips stayed online?

Anyone else noticed a lot of missing clips in their portfolio?

The new editor works fine with video submitting. Just tested out. Finally, they fixed the multiword keywords import via CSV.

Nothing effected on our portfolio... probably only local changes.

I agree. Adobe is the only one that pays commissions on Skrill.

Most of the contributors here are photographers... in reality videos on SS take a lot of time before they start selling (in contrary to images where we had sales almost instantly after uploading them). In our case it is the same for few years now. What we uploaded last year, it barely gets any sales this year. It will probably sell much better next year. But there were some exceptions where some files sold after 3-6 months after uploading them.
And some smartasses here will say that our port is just too small to arguments our statistics. With over 12 thousands of video clips uploaded, we kinda see where things are going.

With every new program, we only see fewer sales. We also received this email.

It is accepted by all agencies we tried.
