Welcome back The old stats from the iStock site are no longer accessible, so DeepMeta cannot access them. Instead, the new ESP servers provide monthly "Royalty Statements", which are very detailed. So that's an improvement. DeepMeta automatically downloads these statements, and shows them in the "Statements", "Sales" and "Stats" sections. Unfortunately, these statements only report sales starting from Feb 2017. So that's what we have to work with. If you've used DeepMeta 2 in the past, you can import that sales data in the new DeepMeta 3 version, and can see Downloads/Royalties in the Files list (clicking page 3, on the page 1-2-3 selector at the top of the file list). Here's more info on the new stats in DeepMeta: https://www.deepmeta.com/GettingStarted/StatementsAndSaleshttps://www.deepmeta.com/GettingStarted/Statisticsor you can watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjHi4MuPeN8I don't use it much, and I may not have the latest version, but off the top of my head one thing I haven't been able to do is to check a certain keyword and instantly see how much images with that keyword has earned. The latest versions of DeepMeta have a "Keywords" section, showing all keywords used in your portfolio, along with royalties, downloads, RPD, RPI, etc. You can sort by these columns as well, revealing your top selling keywords.

@FrankyDM
why you do every second day a non urgent update? That's really annoying.
Its perfectly ok to skip a few updates...

Hi Franky, another image of mine was rejected, I am supposed to see "notes field" for additional feedback. But I cannot find the field. Would you please tell me how I can find the notes field? Thanks again!
The notes field is actually on the batch, not on the file itself (is the same at the ESP site). I suggest you right-click the file in DeepMeta, and select "View on ESP site", and add the note there.

Hi Franky, thanks for the reply. I clicked to move, and the file is deleted. Perhaps I made the wrong click. Actually the image has been moved to upload folder but no longer in its original folder, nor editorial folder. What did I do wrong?
Could be that one of the filter buttons at the top of the list is inactive, hiding the new batch/file... Contact me directly if you want me to look into this further: https://www.deepmeta.com/Contact

I'll try this because I wasn't able to upload anything ?! !!!! Not super friendly to upload stuff.
I'm not sure what doesn't work for you, but it may be worth having a look at the latest video: "DeepMeta in 20 minutes". Best way to get started and learn the quickest workflow: https://youtu.be/U7toxp9PzYI

Hi Franky,
Is it possible to switch one image in DM to the editorial folder? The image was initially submitted as regular stock photo, the curator wants it to be editorial. I cannot locate the original image in my many hard drives. Thanks.
Yes, it's possible: right-click (or ctrl-click if on Mac) the file in the DeepMeta file list and select "Move", to move it to a new batch, which you can set as Editorial. More info at the bottom of following page, under "Moving files between batches": https://www.deepmeta.com/en/GettingStarted/Files

Anyone having login problems (or other issues, for that matter) in DeepMeta: better just simply send a quick mail: https://www.deepmeta.com/ContactFor completeness, mention the username you use in DeepMeta and I promise you'll have a quick and efficient answer...

Click on the "silhouette" icon at the bottom left of the DeepMeta window, which probably says "Login failed". This will open the Preferences window where you should enter your correct "ESP" username and password. Click the "verify" button to check if correct.

At the top of the batch list are a number of filter buttons: "Active", "Revise" and "Closed". Click the "Active" button. It's probably not on, and then your active/new batches are not shown.

I was only able to reproduce the clearing of keywords that didn't work, when "Clear first" is selected. This has been fixed in the new v3.7.3 release.
The new version also features spell checking for the description field. A long standing request from Windows users. If anyone else is experiencing the first issue reported above, please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for contacting DeepMeta support by mail as well, which is the quickest way to get things like this resolved. I'm looking into it and will post back when I have an update.

The ones for "August" are the most recent statements published. Those for September will come around the 20th of this month.

You probably have a large portfolio and the latest release is now able to download it, so thats what it was doing. Its new functionality, and the upcoming release keeps you better informed of whats happening. Also, of course this only needed to be done once. Closed batches are now hidden by default, so thats why you didnt see them. On the batch page: click the closed button to toggle between viewing and hiding closed batches. I know you got around it now, but I thought Id best explain anyway

At the moment, DeepMeta is only for iStock contributors, so I guess ESP is your only option.

I had a problem on Mac with the latest Deepmeta update. After updating, clicking on the Files or Activity tabs resulted in a fatal error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object'.
Rolling back a version didn't fix it. I had to delete my Deepmeta data in Application Support folder to fix it. Frustrating.
Thanks for reporting, and I would be grateful if you could drop me a line at [email protected], letting me know the username you use in DeepMeta. This would allow me to track down the issue and get it fixed, so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again. Thanks!

Yes, sorry about that. The problem occurred on systems which have certain languages set as OS language, e.g.Danish.
I've just released v3.1.2 which should fix this. Let me know if this fixes things for you. Thanks!

You should have received your login for the new ESP site around Feb 1st. If you can't find it, you can request it by sending a message to: https://esp.gettyimages.com/contactLots of things have changed, so prepare to put some time in learning the new system. Good luck!

Franky, what to do if (reusing your example) I want to use Suviana and roviana lagoon?
Is there a way to select both (or even more) keywords in on time?
It used to be possible to simply click both, but I was asked to remove that option because it was seen as an invitation to spam keywords. It's still possible, but now requires more work: enter "Suviana" a second time in the keyword input box, and then select "roviana lagoon".

As I read the OP, they already have the files in the system, but they are unfindable. As I understood it, once files were accepted, nothing could be done on my side, including via DM. I've read that on iS's forum and it was what Support told me. Are you saying that the process you described above can be used after acceptance? If so, does that apply also to files which were uoaded prior to 'unification'/DM3?
Sorry, I read the OP as asking advice for new uploads, how to generally handle this situation. You are right, Sue, that at the moment the only way to change already accepted files is to open a ticket.

You mentioned DeepMeta, so I'll explain how to do it there: 1. Type in the name of the lake, "Suviana" as keyword and press enter. 2. You'll get a box allowing you to refine. The only option in the Getty CV is apparently "roviana lagoon". i'll assume it doesn't apply, so you click on the word "Suviana" itself. 3. The term "Suviana" will go to the valid keyword list. It is marked with an asterisk (*) indicating it's not a Getty CV term.
Normally, searching for the word "Suviana" should show up the image. Note that this only appears to work when you set your keywording language to English (seems to be a limitation of the ESP system).
I've added 3 screenshots of the 3 steps above.

Why I don't see keywords on my uploaded videos in Deepmeta? I run on Mac.
There is description, title and all other info, just keywords are missing. Even on already accepted clips. Model releases are missing too.
Sync of keywords and releases from ESP to DM is currently in local test, but not released yet. There are still some issues regarding multiple languages to be resolved; working with the Getty API team on this. Once this code is fully tested, Sync will be complete and able to retrieve everything from ESP.

Could anyone tell me where the editorial option is?
Thanks!
When you create a new batch, choose "Editorial image" as a type instead of "Image". All files in that batch are editorial. More info: https://www.deepmeta.com/GettingStarted/Batches/
