General - Top Sites / Re: Istockphoto's very generous reviews
« on: March 11, 2017, 06:06 »
Istock does not care about storing horrible photos, time ago they bought enough hard disks They remain selecive, but only with what images do they pick for the signature. + collection reflected in Getty. The game of this agency and serious/pro exclusves is that collection. The rest of collection really dont care the curation.

104
Peoplee.... All you are wrong!! PPF was NOT applied. Istock forget minimun ppf for exclusives and non exclusives. This is a 15% for example of 5 cents ppf and are not enought zeros at the right of the point 0.0075 for see in report!!!   I repeat... Check getty forums... Exclusives with s+ , signature or essentials sales dont received warranty minimun PPF... And non exclusives dont received minimun  too

Offset have good sales but is picky picky picky.... Offset. Getty. Fotolia infinite in this order for me but try get great pictures with good models accepted... Average images work best in micro. Learning in mistakes experience

107
Like Narcos; Silver or Lead... You are exclusive or die!!

108
Strangely, my istock sales were better than other agencies. I am gonna wait for a while and see the results.

If you have high end content ... Be exclusive!

« on: December 12, 2016, 05:26 »
With 10.000 lifestyle average images con can earn 2500-5000 $ per mont in shutter.

But i dont know how many $ can be earned with 10.000 average lifestyle videos... ;)

2 years without upload cool photos...40%... but for me now shutter dont care like past time...

118
Camon Matt!!

Make a Decent -image exclusive- program and application access to infinite and be number one for first time!!

119
I do not understand that we complain on one side of the flood of files and on the other we want there to be no upload limits. I do not understand.

I'm in favor of uploading only the best and avoiding the photos or simlar videos... and understand if any agencie benefits his exclusives.

Automatic reviews by bots... not please!

120
Is not common... but if you sell video is more possible.

People images sell more than landscapes.

Cool images. Make some people shots and try macrostock-midstock

I have some good shots in micro and earn money thanks to a lot of subs and shutter S.O licences or some fotolia credit sales or low images pack.

With Istock changes is very easy earnd 0.06...0.12...0,03...this is crazy low...even for stupid isolated apple in white and the worst is that i cant erase good microstock photos to send for other sites.

john bull i have good photos in offset and is not only about quality, a lot of quality images are rejected by them:  is necesary some "realistic style"  (plainpicture-stocksy-offset style and we musnt forget that plainpicture was the first) There is a lot of great photos in microstock and only work with high subs percentaje and some single sales. With 0.12-004--0.09 only work for youtube views.

Eyeem is a waste of time with his release system... fill again in web fields all model /property release information ethnicity... age... name...adress...phone...mail... and if you forget related images of the same person before submit...yo will must do it again.

I closed my account. A file remain in Getty Eyem.

124
I cant. I think would close my account.

1-. Your photos are a little weak but have the necesary level for be in depositphotos.
2-. Dont join. They are bad people.
3-. All we must continue learning and see why images were rejected in differente agencies, big or smalls.
