Who knows. So far they are proven that can do what they want. We don't have a way to really check anything!!!

For me in Catalog Manager says monthly downloads but it shows total downloads (well from two months).

But I think that this could be real problem, they are probably not trying to steal from us (or they do but leave no easy traces like this) but it could be some bugs that happens which prevents us from getting out money and since no one answer the mail I really don't have idea what to do about it.

I know that they have to be labeled as illustrations and I did that. Reason of rejection was:

Editorial Vector / Illustration Requirements -- Image does not meet our requirements for editorial vector/illustration submissions.
Intellectual Property -- Image potentially infringes on another partys intellectual property rights (e.g., someone elses artwork is visible in the image or an object's design is protected by copyright).

I thought since I saw a lot of pictures with "Olympics" in keywrods that copyrighted keywords could be used in editorial images (how else would that images be found). Some time before I had similar problem and it was accepted after second or third time as commercial, but now since I want to submit as editorial looks like 3D renders aren't welcome as editerial (iS made it clear: we do not accpet 3D renders as editorials yet was a message).

It's a shame really since images like that gave me a lot of downloads for brexit, I was hoping to do the same with Olympics.

Well most of paparazzi take their photos on the street or from the street, and sometimes I'm not sure how legal it is, at least I hope it is not legal to take photos of people in their homes or other closed events.
Anyway stock agencies probably care more about the way someone got pictures then yellow papers. And that think about tickets I think I read somewhere on old iStock forum, I'm not sure. And for me it makes sense, since if anybody could take pictures from ticketed events why would people spend a lot of money to get ticket passes for some events.

My advice is to send an email to organizer of event with permission to use photos for sale. I also heard somewhere that it should be enough.

I saw no message anywhere of any of sites going down, but I think it could be done, I'm just thinking how will that work for our sales.

I entered Image Gallery Status on Shutterstock and sortet them by total purchases and this is what shows up. It's happened with two images. I know it's still in beta so I also checked for them in my gallery and in most popular they are in zone with pictures with one download, but they have zero. Then I entered undiscovered folder in gallery and they weren't there so they are probably downloaded at least once but I can't see it, or get money from it. I emailed to support about it but I didn't get any answer.

Does anybody else had problem like this? And does anybody know what it is about?

Thanks for links but I think this is something a little bit different, 2 same pictures are always in zone with pictures with 1 download, and new pictures are coming bellow them. If all new pictures were showing up in the top I wouldn't rise a question but like this I have my suspects (maybe unreasonable) that thay didn't showed me those 2 downloads. I now that is only 2 downloads and probably like 50 cents but since I'm new here and if this is real problem that could easly become 20 or 200 pictures soon as number of downloads rises.

I woul try to contact Shutterstock directly but I have sent them message directly once before (about two weeks ago) and I never got an answer.

As I say, if it's stuck in publishing, try opening it for edit on the site, change something and save it back;  then give it a few minutes and you may find it becomes active.  Worked for me and for others.

iStock may well get around to sorting it themselves eventually, but don't hold your breath...

Hi there, I just registered today on Fotolia and instaled Fotolia instant app on my phone. Now I noticed that there is option that picture goes as free if they say that it isn't good for selling, is there any way to set this on NO automatic, so I don't need to press it every time? I know I'll forget sometimes. And in my opinion it isn't nice at all from them to set that like that!

And now more important thing: I didn't notice that option on Android app, so will it go as free? I don't want them to go like that since some of them sell on other sites.

Contributor side is on in Serbia but not the buyers side.
