Got one too, 0.2. I'm new to Eyeem, so is that it for the last month (lol) or it's a realtime reporting (doubt since it's Getty)?

It could be that they thought it should be editorial for a reason other than the model release. I've noticed that Pond5 just marks clips as editorial for things like logos or signs in the background rather than rejecting them.
I doubt that's that's the case since all my videos show as editorial, even the nature macro ones.

So when in dashboard - uploads, when I hoover over a clip the preview comes up and a text under it saying "Editorial use only - no model release provided..." even thou I did attach releases. When I actually click on a clip and it takes me to buyer side preview under it in description it actually does say that it contains releases. Is this just some dashboard bug or should I be concerned?

Sounds like someone told "something" to client about printing large format, happens a lot of times.

Camera is only worth as much as a lens you attach to it. In other words, if you are not going to utilize the advantage of different lenses, there is no point in getting an interchangeable lens camera. In another words, I have a phone that takes nice 4K video but I don't film anything with it because I can't attach my 85mm f1.4 lens to it, so I prefer filming with Nikon dslr in 1080p.

Hi everybody, as a newbie in these parts I was wondering how long does it take you to title and keyword and then submit.
Lets say 10 images across three options 1. 10 very different images, different subjects etc. 2. 10 photos of similar subjects but slightly different 3. 10 photos of the same subject just different angles
Then submit to the likes of SS, Adobe, iStock.
I feel its taking me far to long to do option a, maybe 2 hours once Ive got the photos looking the way I want them which itself can take a couple of hours.
Thanks
I'd suggest dividing into editing days and keywording/uploading days, I find it tiresome to keyword and upload after editing. Anyway you don't want to upload the simmilars the same day, in theory.

In my humble experience the big sales usually clear in about a month, it's the small ones from distributors that got hanging even for 6 months.

I guess it's the keywords that triggered it, just like on Eyeem.

New images selling, unlike SS, so no wonder it's now better. Another good month.

Thank you all very much for your kind insights. Model was like a family, a friend and a longterm boyfriend of my sister. I found a moment in these hard times for her to talk about it as to take action as soon as possible and as he was an artist himself, a photography student and graduated painter, we both went trough a creative process creating those photos, had a lot of fun and good times, me and my sister came to the conclusion that the photos should stay where they are as something he helped create, a memory of good times and something achieved and generally a tribute to this great young man. A creation should live beyond and spread.
I think this is good line of thinking. We think that he would want that.

The signed release is valid after the death of a person. Ethically is very personal you can ask the photographer to take down the pictures in question.
Thanks for the answer. I am the photographer. Ethically and personally I'm torn between it's kind of morbid to use a photo of a deceased person commercially but on the other hand it might feel as a trace of that person, that what that person did does not stop exist the moment he dies. I'm confused on this matter, that's why I'd like to hear different opinions.

How is one supposed to go about in case of deceased model featured in photos in multiple agencies? I'm thinking both legally, ethically and emotionally as the person in question was very close to me.
My line of thought being that I should send requests to agencies to delete all photos containing a certain model release.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks.

Guys, I've started this job for four months. I work with 4 sites. I have 600 plus images. Except for Shutterstock, I didn't make any profit. 123 Rf + Fotoliada is one of them. 1-2 sales though I can live. What is your ideas. Why not sold.

Very low commercial value, while your photos seem natural that's not what customers are looking for, they want high-end finished product that pops. Apart from that, spread out your niches.

Oh so predictable, the sales have now taken off in a hurry to make my monthly quota before the month ends. Don't want to sound paranoid, it's actually funny.

Best month ever for me. They must have been playing with the search engine.
I believe they are, I am seeing a very bad month here. Congrats to you.
Really seems like it, today it seems back to normal again (my best sellers selling), while during the poor period of the month I was getting some sales of images that mostly never sold, like someone was digging them up from their pit.

Catastrophic for me too, if nothing happens in the next week I'll be down 50% from May.

Also from what I see, for me, only IS gets the new uploads moving instantly.
Wow, totally opposite to me! My new uploads disappear into the abyss, and in a double whammy, my bestsellers one by one suddenly* disappear from the first page to lower than page ten on their most likely search term and stop selling. *It is always sudden, never a gradual slide.
As you suggest, we are all depending on the lottery of getting high value Getty sales.
Seriously, on SS and AS nothing newly uploaded seems to get traction at all, while on IS it really does sell and I can see them getting views and and lightbox added. Also, from my personal angle, stuff that sells on IS actually the stuff I think is good - not so stockish, this stuff is dead on SS and AS. I don't know why is like that but for me it is, there's always a bunch of surprises on the 20th while SS and AS are so predictable.

Another month better than SS and AS, both in sales and RPD. Also from what I see, for me, only IS gets the new uploads moving instantly.
