hope not! I hate clients that's the main reason why I am doing microstock
The same here. I love microstock because I can do what I want. I want to fell freel. If I'm free I can do beautiful works but if someone ask me about a subject....it's a drama!

You're very nice Clapper, I've your opinion too or, better, I think that your opinion is rational and intelligent but sometimes I' ve a masochistic instinct

Yes, it's. There're some photos and some illustrations (mixed media, hand drawn, 3d and raster) but not vectors so I have to try the photo submission...I can make vector too...but...I' m in confusion!!

(sometimes I think that the only, real, important think is the lucky...if it's a good day for the examiner, he take everything but if it's a bad day there aren't possibilities...Like on SS, Fotolia and dreamstime, I think that, a lot of time there aren't tecnichal problems but only luck).

Hi, march was a great month for me but I've upload a lot everywhere. I'm on mickostock since november 2010 so my stats are related to the precedent month.
Shutterstock: + 72% Fotolia: + 2200% (but the past month I sold only 1 picture...) Dreamstime: =

I have the same problems. I really don't understand what they want to see because they reject very beautiful images and usually I feel angry when they say "poor execution". I have 100% acceptance ratio on fotolia and shutterstock so I'm sure that my works are good (some works won digital art challenges too...). I think they are looking for some categories that are not so present on dreamstime. I don't like the revision time too, it's too long!!! In any case, it's not so important, I love SS and I think that in the future there'll be only SS and who'll change before his mentality... (p.s. sorry for my english )

If I have 51 downloads in a day, I faint I'm on shutterstock since november 2010, I have 390 works online and 5 downloads in a day. I thought it wasn't too bad but now I'm changing my opinion

In this period I have, more or less, 100% work accepted. Yesterday 50 and 50 ecc. Some works accepted on Fotolia and Shutterstock are rejected by dreamstime and vice versa. There're not reason...never. Just luck.

Just in this moment I had 7 rejected images by dreamstime. All these works are succefully submitted and accepted by Shutterstock and Fotolia. Dreamstime said me..."This image requires your attention on some issues...ecc.ecc or "The composition of a successful commercial image needs to be clear and supportive of the image's main concept and primary subject. " " Only to say you that there isn't a reason. Personally I think that an agency should accept all works without error, it isn't important if there're too many flowers or landscapes. It's an error reject good (without errors) works. It isn't a problem for the contributor, he goes in another agency, it's a problem for the agency that loses the contributor. Shutterstock loves my illustrations, Dreamstime so and so...So I upload only on Shutterstock...also because it's the better one for sales I hate the thinking of some agencies, I find it not open mind and I think that it isn't a good idea for themself reject without a realistic and important reason but because, like IS, they looks only for one kind of images. I can understand what they look for: no atrworks, no effects, clear subjects ecc. ecc. so there're some categorie absent altogether. It's not so strange statistic that I can see here (-0.22) Only to say you that many time there isn't a real reason. So good luck everibody

I've seen that there isn't a real criteria for rejections on Fotolia, Dreamstime, IS and Shutterstock. A lot of time the reason is only what a stock agency is looking for. I'm an illustrator and I have 70-100% approved images on Shutterstock, more or less the same on Fotolia, much less on dreamstime and IS is not interesting in my work ( altogether, they said me "beautiful works but it isn't what we're looking for" even if I sold well my illustration in other agencies...). A lot of time a picture rejected for technical problems by an agency is accepted to another one and viceversa (I hope that in english vice versa is written like in italian ). I've understood that technical problems aren't objective (many times...) only a point of view.

Thanks to everyone. First of all I'll try to improve my portfolio, than I'll try different kind of subjects...but it's strange, I'm building my portfolio on dreamstime too. I've only 60 images but I sell better than on Fotolia.
