The same here. I love microstock because I can do  what I want. I want to fell freel. If I'm free I can do beautiful works but if someone ask me about a subject....it's a drama!

Istock despite 4 ELs way down, to me they're just thievery disguised in a pathetic disgrace of a site.
Shutterstock and Dreamstime both decent BME despite barely uploading, i dont believe this is a coincidence either with iStock performing so bad.
I dont submit to Fotolia; BigStock and Veer are only good for a couple of percents in my total; especially Veer has slowed down for me.

I don't understand why, if a lot of people say that "IS...disguised in a pathetic disgrace", when I look on the right column I see that it's up and not so far from  Shutterstock. (How you can understand I'm not english  )
And, why, if a lot of people say that it was a good month on SS and not on IS, IS is up and SS is stationary 

You're very nice Clapper, I've your opinion too or, better, I think that your opinion is rational and intelligent but sometimes I' ve a masochistic instinct 

(sometimes I think that the only, real, important think is the lucky...if it's a good day for the examiner, he take everything but if it's a bad day there aren't possibilities...Like on SS, Fotolia and dreamstime, I think that, a lot of time there aren't tecnichal problems but only luck).

When I made the christmas tree, actually, I have copied a christmas tree on Istock, I liked it, it was very colorful and nice...It was a very popular images, I think 3 or four years ago.

Thanks Microbius. I can't understand, 3 of these images are in the first page by popularity on SS and aren't enought good?  I have sold them a lot of times, so it's difficult believe that aren't enought good...but I accept that Istock isn't interesting in it and I close with this stock. But this time I want to tell that there isn't a so incredible quality standard on IS, it's simply different and subjective, like anywhere else. I have seen wonderful works and terrible works, like...anywhere else. 

The same here!  I prefer now, we can upload less but they are faster than before, very very faster 

I have done my new record two days ago. 13 downloads. I hope to make better but I'm glad. I sell 13 works in two months on dreamstime and in 3 on Fotolia 

If I have 51 downloads in a day, I faint 
I'm on shutterstock since november 2010, I have 390 works online and 5 downloads in a day. I thought it wasn't too bad but now I'm changing my opinion 

Just in this moment I had 7 rejected images by dreamstime. All these works are succefully submitted and accepted by Shutterstock and Fotolia. Dreamstime said me..."This image requires your attention on some issues...ecc.ecc   or "The composition of a successful commercial image needs to be clear and supportive of the image's main concept and primary subject. "  "
Only to say you that there isn't a reason.
Personally I think that an agency should accept all works without error, it isn't important if there're too many flowers or landscapes. It's an error reject good (without errors) works. It isn't a problem for the contributor, he goes in another agency, it's a problem for the agency that loses the contributor.
Shutterstock loves my illustrations, Dreamstime so and so...So I upload only on Shutterstock...also because it's the better one for sales  
I hate the thinking of some agencies, I find it not open mind and I think that it isn't a good idea for themself reject without a realistic and important reason but because, like IS, they looks only for one kind of images.
I can understand what they look for: no atrworks, no effects, clear subjects ecc. ecc. so there're some categorie absent altogether. It's not so strange statistic that I can see here (-0.22)  
Only to say you that many time there isn't a real reason. So good luck everibody
