Hate envato/ photodune. Low sales and critical upload problems since 2013..
FTP: 553 Can't open that file: Permission denied
And if uploaded you have to transfer them at your members account from ftp account.
Uploaded 50 files. 27 files arrived. Where are the other files gone?

It is strange that there aren't more upset customers and contributors complaining. I sent an e-mail asking about them closing down and when contributors can expect payment. I just got a curt response
"Did I not just send you your earnings last night?
What is your PayPal address. "
No mention of whether or not they are indeed closing.
I sent my PayPal address but still no payment.
Please give me kozzis mail adress. Contact page just a fake mail adress.

SOD sales and EL sales are two separate things. I opted out of EL sales - I am still opted in for "sensitive use" which is what allows the SOD sales to happen
The risk I take is that some customers won't want to take the time to contact SS to ask about getting an EL and will find a substitute for someone who is opted in. I'm OK with running that risk.
So true. I added my mail adress and website at user profile description. A few very nice sales on this way.

Your idea sounds good. However photographers have been lied by Leo and Symbiostock recently!!! You must give much more proves about your site.
Not my site. Our site. But sadly i noticed there`s no way to start something like that at MSG.
So let`s wait for "another bruce". Maybe we just have to wait a few years. 
You got it. There are some nice, intelligent, and talented people here but working as a team toward a common goal hasn't been a strong point. There's little unity.
Which is why every time someone comes here and suggests a co-op, union, or anything else that requires organizing a team, this is usually how it ends up.
So yes, this group really needs a leader with a ready-made business like a Stocksy.
You are right. I know it was a bad idea try to collect wishes and ideas for a agency. Try to create a team. The only way is a ready-to-go solution. But iam sure, if someone has to do everything alone or with investors the result will not be this perfect. Perfect for us photographers.. Nice try

yes you tried it with symbio? I saw many of these sites. There`s no customer friendly interface. No eye-tracking or similar. Many more reasons. You are completely right.

What you're suggesting is mostly already in place - visit Symzio via the link in my signature. Every image there is self-hosted by contributors just like you - they retain full control over whether it is active or not, set most of the pricing, and retain 70% or more of any income generated through sales.
Now that the infrastructure is there, and you see other peers pushing for it, jump on board and push for it's further success yourself.
It's in your hands.
the worst timing to place your advertising  ..and no, clearly it would not be the same (i do not say symbio is not good).
