I'm using Lightroom to keyword and add meta data to my videos. There's a Lightroom plugin called LR/Transporter that then lets you export your Lightroom meta data as a CSV file. In the plugin you can customize what data goes into the CSV and create presets for the different sites that you upload to. I can export properly formatted CSV files for 5 sites in less than a minute.

Hi Forrest - I basically have the same setup as you minus a few dslr's and gimbal. Do you use the ronin gimbal with the fs700? I'm looking to get one but not sure if the camera is too heavy or long? Where do you place the Odyssey? On the gimbal handles?
I use the Sony FS700 with the Ronin (original one). I mount the Odyssey on the handle-bar. With the sony 18-200mm lens that came with the camera, it's a little bit too long/front heavy on the Ronin, so I used double sided tape to mount a couple of lead fishing weights to the back of the camera. That allows it to be balanced correctly.

Correct; I don't do video, but IIRC, all exclusive videos get mirrored (I don't think there's Sig+ for video?) I wouldn't say 'never' though; iS is well known for surprising about turns.
There is Signature+ for videos, but I don't think they are treated any different than Signature.

I am considering requesting my account to be terminated or have my videos deactivated and just keep my account there. The only thing that is stopping me is that I heard I think in this forum that they are planning big things for video sometime this year, can anyone confirm this or have any details? I would just like to know if this is true though I doubt I would be a game changer unless they seriously overhauled the royalty scheme.
Thanks.
I wouldn't hold your breath. Why terminate your account? Why not just leave what you have there and not upload any more. I'm a diamond level footage contributor and I just dropped iStock video exclusivity after being exclusive for 9 years. I'm going to leave my footage on iStock, but I'm not planning on uploading any more. If iStock does make some changes that are good for the contributors, then I might start uploading again.

Buy your wife a camera.
I travel a ton and I'm lucky my girlfriend is also into photography. I could see someone getting pretty annoyed is they were always having to wait around for a photographer while on vacation.

I'm a diamond level footage contributor at iStock. I didn't delete my iStock portfolio, but at the end of June I gave my notice that I was dropping iStock exclusivity after being exclusive for over 9 years. Working hard to get everything ready to start selling on Shutterstock and several other sites.

Yeah, iStock has been more getting more and more contributor unfriendly every year.

I would guess that most people are using our footage without doing any additional color correction. And if they are doing color correction, it's just a really quick adjustment in their editing program.

I've had pretty good luck with Model Mayhem, but then I live in Los Angeles and there's a bazillion models and actors here. Almost every model/actor I've used was found on Model Mayhem.
My biggest issue has been the occasional model flaking on a shoot.
