As for the commissions they vary, you get less if someone has bought your item through affiliate link.

Just so you know if you register through the OP link he is getting a 100$ for each referral :)
Nothing against it, just thought it was fair to mention.

Be sure to check their licenses, the basic one practically offers unlimited use. Otherwise they are developing well.

What is the certificate of tax residence they are requesting?

I recently had one too.

Is anyone else seeing an effect so far from this?

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I had great sales on Tues and Wed, and today -- apparently the first full day of this being in effect -- my sales are in the toilet.  I'll probably end up 70% down from the last few days. Possibly lower than a Saturday.

Anyone else seeing this effect already?

The effect won't be immediate. It will take some time until it is posted on all the forums, groups etc. We will now start seeing happy people sharing the great news.

It seems this is a great year for bad news. They just can't stop coming.
Everything is going from cheap to cheaper to free.

Canva / Re: Canva, what's the plan now?
« on: September 25, 2020, 03:56 »
You say to refresh our Canva portfolio with newer shoots.
I have a few images from last year that are still in review.
I stopped uploading because of this, previously I've had images in review for months too, but this is new.
I am never sure what will happen when I upload, not to mention that in the past I've uploaded season specific images and they've been reviewed half a year later.
Do you plan to improve the contributor side?

No answer here.
This was going to be my first payout, now I feel I wasted my time uploading there.
I don't mind waiting to reach the threshold but I find it unfair to never receive the money you earned.
Is it even legal for them to keep your earnings?
Very disappointed, not even for the money themselves but just feeling cheated.

I am at 47$ and they will not pay me and will hold my money?
Or am I missing something?

The last one is July 15 for me too.
And the payment I received is the actual amount for June.

Some of us are not so deeply pessimistic https://youtu.be/Jpup7dEnD-8
Some of you have figured out that it's getting more and more difficult to make money from stock images but there's still money to be made with courses and affiliate marketing.

I've no intension of boycotting Shutterstock by suspending or deleting my portfolio. For one thing, I'm at a higher RPD in June 2020 than in June 2019 or June 2018.

I think there has been a fixation on $0.10 downloads. So far this month I've received an average of $0.44 per sale.

I upload to seven agencies and agree with the view expressed in this video https://youtu.be/XWlNVgC7xuE about exclusive accounts and diversity.

Another anonymous person with a miraculous RPD...quelle surprise.

Well, the author of this video has to sell her courses.

I am looking at the new submissions daily from the beginning of June and it seems the quality is mostly quite bad. I wonder if it is like this just now or was it like that before the change.
Not to mention the many similar images, just one example is oak logo in fresh content  ::)

My subscription earnings start in May 2019

Is the gross amount for May supposed to show the sum of the total royalty earnings + total subscription earnings?
