Mat its about time you guys develop a app for AS.

Hi there,

I'm the content lead for Video on Adobe Stock and would love to hear what you would need for an application.  I'm assuming you're talking mobile, but let me know if I'm wrong?  What are the main pain points and what should an application accomplish to address them?

Thanks,
Dennis Radeke

Hi there,

This is Dennis who helps oversee video for Adobe Stock.  I'm very excited about this program and what it does for the Stock community and our contributors.  Super excited to see it come to life and hopeful that the community at large takes advantage of it.

Obviously, I'm very focused on the video portion - so if you have specific questions, please let Mat or I know!

Upload that 4k and HD content!

Yours in content,
Dennis Radeke

Youre absolutely right! SS and Adobe havent got a clue of how to sell footage! Adobe is even worse! I wouldnt bother with any of them as regards to video total waste of time.

Hi there Derek,

I would love to hear why Adobe is worse.  What are we doing that has you turned off to Adobe Stock?

Hi there,

I have been following this forum for a while now and have learned a ton but until now have never posted anything.  I guess it's time to change that.

My name is Dennis Radeke and I am the Content Development Manager for Motion for Adobe Stock.  I have been with Adobe for a number of years and if you're interested you can see me on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dennisradeke/

As I have said, I have learned a lot from many places but especially from this forum.  You are passionate, entrepreneurial, always paying attention to what vendors like Adobe do and so much more, I want to take a moment to thank those who are involved with us.

Now, I want to stay in touch and no doubt some people may chime in with suggestions, ideas and complaints. I will post a separate thread later to engage with folks on video, commissions, etc.etc. etc!  I won't have all of the answers and I won't be able to say yes to all things, but I do promise to be honest and forthright.  I look forward to the discussions...

Instead, for this post, I would like to point you to a blog article and encourage those who have skills in developing motion graphics to reach out via the email in the blog article.   We're working on some really neat things and I hope that people will engage with us.

Check out this link: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/a-new-marketplace-for-motion-graphics-templates/?segment=adobe-stock

Thanks for letting me into your community and look forward to future interaction!

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe/FT 2.69 for a footage ?
« on: December 01, 2016, 08:34 »
Hi there, my name is Dennis Radeke and I am the Content Development Manager for for motion for Adobe Stock.

As you probably know, Adobe purchased Fotolia as a way to establish a strong presence in the stock content marketplace.  Fotolia continues to have strong sales and is slightly different than Adobe Stock.

In the case of video, Adobe Stock currently offers two products to sell (4k, HD) and Fotolia offers five (4k, 1080, 720, 480, 240).  The lower resolution and frame size comes with a lower cost.

If you received a lower royalty, then it is due to a smaller sized clip that was purchased.  Ultimately, having the two marketplaces today offers our contributors two unique offerings in which to publish and promote their content.

I hope this helps!  8)
