Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock reviewers are idiots
« on: December 12, 2019, 11:46 »
Everybody has the freedom to quit Microstocks.

And are there any idiots among the contributors as well? Theoretically there are, simple statistics.

I do stocks full time. For many people with disabilities its the only way to earn money... The stock market is the heaven on earth for me.

General Stock Discussion / I love Shutterstock

I love Shutterstock. Is there anybody else who appreciate the service of SS? after reading all these hateful comments, I wonder.
SS is part of my daily bread, for me and my family.

there is a proverb saying: There's life in the old dog yet.

For me, Dreamstime is vitally alive.

contributor site is down... I love Fotolia site, I hate Adobestock site.

if you google a2zp30.com and search for Shutterstock you find tons and tons of stuff to download. Can anybody tell me, why Shutterstock does not stop this site?

123RF works fine for me. Steady income with usual ups and downs. 4K illustrations, 2 rejections in five years. I have no complains whatsoever. And very nice lady on the phone.

Adobe Stock / Re: Contributor of the Week - Top Ten
« on: October 17, 2018, 13:56 »
I got one question: why is the fluctuation rate in the sales so extremely high? its like suffering from a weekly bipolar disorder from total depression to euphoric mood and back again. Hopefully you got my point.

60
Its not the question of complexity, its the concept behind the image which pays. I have some very simple illustrations which sell very good and I got very complex ones, which flop. They must be unique and up-to-date.

Alamy goes for illustrations.

General Stock Discussion / Re: I'm very upset today.

microstock is like any other business. If you run a shop, for example, you will have shoplifter, starting from the first day of your business. Take it like it is. I also guess that everybody has copied someones idea at one time, maybe unknowingly.

check out this:

63
this is the explanation, which I got:

Regarding the Contributor Dashboard access, it has been relocated. You may now find it at the footer of the site, under the Header "123RF" > "123RF Contributors".

I am doing illustrations only. DP is a shooting star for me since half a year. Its up to 70 percent of SS.

Here is the definition of blame game

a situation in which one party blames others for something bad or unfortunate rather than attempting to seek a solution.

67
big misunderstanding... after seven years in the Microstock business... not according to the age

68
old are those, who are in the Microstock business for more than 7 years. They ran out of new ideas. And they remember the golden days.

69
Going for Microstocks is like any other business, its a day by day struggle.

Young people come up with better ideas, are more creative, more innovative. Old people are backward-looking all the time, they simply are stuck in the mud.... and complain. Call it generation gap.

70
mainstream images are completely out, sparking ideas are always in - no matter what.

its dangerous to come here with a half-assed concept, because members will grind you.

...and you will not get a second chance...

get your homework done first.

72
I wrote them a little note through Live-Chat. I got the answer and the correction within minutes.

73
I got 7 cents, I asked, if this was right and I got this answer:

Thank you for contacting us. We have checked your $0.07 sale with subscription and confirmed that it was a technical glitch, please accept our apologies for any inconveniences. We will double-check and add correct amount to your account within few business days. Thank you for your understanding.

obsessively talking about the good old days is a sign of old age.... just think of your grandparents except you are already one
