I'm sorry but my experience shows that his way of speaking and his attitude as a whole is...  >:(

and this is a problem at all sites - for sure

they have enough ways to "improve" the collections - they have the level based system which is making like selection for the buyers - and there are other ways to push the good photos up - which they think would sell more

if a photo has no technical problems it is purely stupid to reject it

I agree for this guy Serban - he has absolutely bad attitude and should be removed

digitalexpressionimages - absolutely!

cclapper - if you want to change just the size or license of image you already bought, it could be made as an option and I believe it is not complicated to do it, and just to take a little more credits

you never know what someone could need - that's the truth

and all this restrictions are...

8
actually I don't see much sense in this...
maybe for the travel photos... but for the isolated objects I don't see sense to know the GPS coordinates and I wouldn't waste time to input them

I was thinking these days...
many said that they wouldn't sell RAW for these prices
ok... so what is the normal price for RAW?
what do you think

10
someone knows what happened in the end?

after the "make-up" you lose information that a designer could need

and anyway - the next morning after the date - everything is clear  ;D

why do you think that RAW files are so precious? I don't get it...

It's the same if you sell JPEG or RAW for me...

but I have a lot of images on my web site which are originally made on slide films and they are really ART... and I don't upload them at stock sites... recently I even disable more than 20 files that I was upload years ago... I just decided these files worth much more

but all the others... are just stock... and wheather it's jpeg or raw... the same for me

they try to keep their database compact... but still you never know what the client will need

on one hand it's like this... but on the other - I think it's fair to give the designers all options - you don't know what they need... and how they will need it... so giving them the RAW you give them all options

about the price - when they buy with credits it's much higher, but with subscriptions is very low...

RacePhoto - absolutely

I think people should read a little bit more about composition...

you never know what the designer will need and want - but there is a very big chance to be more usable now
and if the object is displayed full size - this is the highest resolution possible - no matter if I crop the white on the right or not - the apple stays the same

the explanation is stupid because it's impossible to shoot on a white background (or any other) and not to leave space - of course we are talking about normal shooting when the object is placed normaly - what they are talking about is something else - for extreme cases when the object is very very small....

recently I got this one -

Please don\'t use that much blank space in pictures with isolated subjects (sample text messages don\'t count as content). Being an isolated subject, the buyers can add blank space as much as they need after downloading. For more informations visit this link http://blog.dreamstime.com/2010/09/08/whitespace-that-should-not-be-white_art33344 .Thank you.

Definitely this is the stupidest ever!!! :)))

yeah... right... west of Berlin the torrent sites doesn't work... crap

people steal everywhere - the only difference is that at some places they are caught

as I live in eastern europe I know very well what are you talking about, but still there are plenty of good people here also

Pixmac / Re: Pixmac no longer a partner?
« on: February 08, 2011, 03:59 »
Actually I experience a very serious decrease in sales after all this happened
So this leads to the obvious conclusion that pixmac were selling very good indeed

But there is something more... several months ago I had the same problems like contributors now in IS - they withdraw money from my account several times, and after a lot of mails and talking they told me that someone for some reason attacked ONLY me.... which is ridiculous... they even suspect me in buying my own photos with false credit cards...

anyway - I guess all the problems were caused by this caching system

the hard truth that I've been writting so many times is that we as contributors don't have ANY control of what is going on behind the scenes

the only reason all this to come up now is that one agency is stealing from another

if an agency is stealing - we can't make an audit
