Pond5 / Re: Pond5 Sales Reporting
« on: April 15, 2016, 07:21 »
It's 15th payout time, all I can say is the new Pond5 is definitely a disaster.

Slow tick-tock downward of p5 death has started, lol good riddance to the new hands at Pond5.

Mmmm. Still no sales for footage despite putting my prices up to $79. Perhaps pricing low is the only answer  :-\

It's the factor of demand, quality, quantity, subjects, season, competition will determine the sales. regardless of the price level, 1$ or even 500$ you'll have the sales if you grasp those factors.

Last month was a huge increase compare to the previous months, this month so far at 12th Oct I need another 5 downloads to be equal than last month total download. Doing extremely well.

Did anyone got their payments??

I was wondering that they have unlimited library and marketplace too,

Do people earn in unlimited library too?? means how are the earning determined..

Yes, waiting my 3rd payments on the 15th.

From my understanding unlimited library is their 'own content' (from contents buy out from original artist, think bigStock video) thus their main source of income.

Pond5 / Re: Video - Pricing at Pond5
« on: June 09, 2015, 00:25 »
All the above plus a few clarifications if i may.

Please for heaven's sake fix the 4K+HD price search. It has forced me -as well as others- to upload 4k and hd separately for the past month cluttering my portfolio. ...
Raise the minimum pricing at least to $50 for HD and $100 for 4K.
...
I'd like to set prices for 4k and HD instead of the automatic pricing.

Guys there is already solution for this. Under Action dropdown menu there is "set downconverted price(video)"

Thank you, 80 is very scary:)) but very good video I'll do this price

"Very good" for buyer and very good for you is different.

I'm an experienced stock footage contributor, listen Natalya, after looking at your footage quality the buyer definitely willing and don't mind to purchase your works at price ranges between 60$-100$, trust me.

65
Got sales but the site is really buggy since past few days.

Pond5 / Re: Pond5: What should we improve?
« on: February 22, 2015, 00:14 »
If I set 4k price at $300 then for 1080p automate downsize will be half the price at $150, can I set the price for 1080p manually? $150 is too high for 1080p.

Bigstock.com / Re: BigStock Selling HD Videos for $0.15 !!
« on: February 19, 2015, 02:31 »
Shutterstock has offer directly to those selected contributing artist/creator, this is optional, their can reject it or accept the offer. Obviously those content owners in Shutterstock's Bigstock footage collection has accept the offer. What ever the offer is their has decided on their right mind that the offer is 'reasonable'.

I think this is an "OK" business practice by Shutterstock, unlike other major agencies.

From my experience, Shutterstock is capable to bring in big sales, their are good at creatively manipulating offers and packages to buyer for example I ever get $100+ for a HD clip under most 'hated' subscription model, how their do it? so far none other agency able to do this.

The idea with Bigstock plan for me is to accelerate buyer base for footage market.
