Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe/Fotolia sales volatility
« on: November 30, 2017, 06:30 »
Hello.
Today I wake up thinking about it and I see this forum.
Exactly the same with me.
Before with Fotolia I had double and sometimes triple views.
Since Adobe bought it, sales have dropped 40 percent since then.
There was a month that I did not upload. I figured the fact that I did not work weekly on my account was the reason for the downfall. But even by uploading every month the views and sales fell.
Now I am on average, but averaging 40% less than the end of the year 2016.
Already as mentioned by some of you, the SS always has the same movement, it seems more solid.

I already voted taking into consideration only micro images.
Between 0.50 and 0.99 (for me 0,70)

But I have videos and photos on sites that pay better sometimes.
I do not know if it helps, but:

I have>
Total videos and photos = 2042
September earned = $ 2642
average year (last 12 months) = $ 2132

So in my mind I earn 1.04 per image / video every month.
I do not know if this is a stupid account,  but I think if I keep the quality and can get 3000 images / videos I can earn the equivalent or more.

But I'm not a professional photographer and I do not use photographic models and I do not have high costs. So I believe I get a good payout.

General Stock Discussion / Re: September Sales
« on: October 03, 2017, 18:50 »
For me, September was my second best month of the year, just after June.

Getty images returned to sell well, SS hit records, Fotolia on average and Pond5 always good.
I uploaded videos in VideoBlocks, let's see what happens.

I hear Alamy speak very well.
And IStock, although a lot of people speak badly, I see by the ranking and by the sales in this post that it is also a good site. I will upload my portfolio on these two sites as soon as I have time ..

General Stock Discussion / Re: AUGUST SALES
« on: August 21, 2017, 13:13 »
Did anything happen to Fotolia this past week? I mean in addition to "It's August"?
They were good the whole summer for me, doing better than SS at certain periods and then suddenly silence :(

SS for me this month, it's average. Fotolia 3 months ago only fallen for me ..
Pond5 has gone well this month.

iStockPhoto.com / Become a contributor to Istock.
« on: March 19, 2017, 14:11 »
Hello friends, how are you?
I would like to be a contributor to Istock, how to do it?
I've tried their own website and I can not.
I already contribute to getty images.
But I would like to contribute to Istock with other photos (same as Shutter & Fotolia).
Grateful
Mauricio
