It is not the end of 123RF, it is the end of microstock.
I keep hearing this ever since I started 10 years ago. I don't think so, not that agencies aren't consistently trying to shoot themselves in the foot

I left iStock almost 3 years ago. Their history is like the boiling frog experiment unfolding in real life. I have no sympathy for those who accept such a despicable treatment.

Missing fresh button is good news for me. I have a copycat that releases similar illustrations within days of my own releases. I want to see his expression now

I was hoping they would forget to close FT as I don't like using the AS site. It's the most frustrating site of them all, why under 'my statistics' does it default to top sellers!! A simple remember last settings would save me 9 clicks every time I refresh the page. Also, is there a way to see what files have sold on a particular day because I've given up searching for it!
Bookmark this URL:
https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/en/insights/sales-earnings
And then you can see recent sales with one click Even if the selection box at the top will say "Top Sellers" even when you open it this was, actually results "Activity" will be shown immediately
This seems to do the trick, thanks

So now that Fotolia is gone I remember this thread from january : https://www.microstockgroup.com/fotolia-com/better-contributor-site-adobe-stock-vs-fotolia/50/Other than the it been slightly more responsive, has anything other been improved on AS's contributor site since then? I got lucky yesterday been able to enter the exact amount to be withdrawn but now this FT feature is gone. Also it's still ridiculous to make two extra clicks every time you check your latest activity. What happened?

My sales are within the month's average but yesterday I had my first zero day since 2012. I hope it's just a fluke.

Comparing with Depositphotos, last year when I asked them to close my account I had some measly ~19$ on my balance. I didn't even care about that money but they were the ones insisting of sending them to me. Several years ago when I closed at Veer they also sent me the remaining royalties despite being under the threshold. I mean that's how you deal with contributors if you have some minimum of decency. Dreamstime is just a cheap agency run by cheap people.

Just wanted to share that Dreamstime keeps the remaining balance at account closure. Really shifty policy considering their payout threshold is 100$. Sales were so poor I wasn't going to get my money until next year anyway.
Odd because when I closed mine, I politely requested payment and account closing, they paid me after a few months. I was not at threshold. Times change so maybe that did too. But I wrote first and they sent the money, I didn't just delete everything and ask for money.
I disabled all my images first and then emailed them. It shouldn't make any difference. They already took their share of the sales. Keeping that money is just a low blow.

I can't believe there are so many contributors still working with them. If people don't respect their own work they shouldn't expect agencies to do so. I deleted everything almost an year go. I remember that at the end even my measly royalty level was not respected. Every sale was part of some special deal and I was getting around half of what I was due.

Another Fotolia feature that is missing from AS is the ability to determine the exact sum you want to convert. I had to make a payout request yesterday and eventually got back to Fotolia to be able do it. What is Adobe team thinking - that so many FT contributors avoided AS until the very last minute out of spite or laziness? Maybe they should take a hint.

It's really slow compared to Fotolia. Btw is there a way to load directly the latest activity? Right now I have to make 2 extra clicks every time I check my sales since the default data type is top sellers. Not to mention waiting for the pages to load.

Someone comes here and announces a possible hack, without any evidence or references and no indication from SS that this is happening, and people start changing the passwords?
Imagine if the hack is real but it's not targeting the current password because they cannot do it, and instead are targeting the new password when people change it because they have found a way to do it?
Or trying to cause some panic to overload SS systems and take advantage of some weakness created then?
So, if I make any type of alarmist announcement will you follow it just because Leaf confirmed my contact, but not my information? This is all very strange.
Agree. I'd really like to see a follow up on the OP. Slim credentials, no evidence whatsoever, goes directly in panic mode. Coincidentally a similar topic was created on SS forums: https://forums.submit.shutterstock.com/topic/95629-please-please-read-this-topic-if-you-want-to-protect-your-accounts-and-hard-works-from-hackers/Is there a way to verify if user Khamkhor is the OP ?

I think it's time to start that women-only forum.
It might be time to close this forum

not REALLY good news ... you take away all the good credit sales - and give us back a few cents for minimum subscriptions ... shame on you!
Who said anything about removing credit sales ?

For me it went from regular $100+ a month to less than $25. There was a very sharp decline since March, not only in $ but in overall sales. The majority of my port is invisible in search and support stopped responding several months ago. They seem to be in complete disarray. I'm couple of dollars shy from 50 and once reached I'll erase manually all my images. At this point I have zero trust in them
...aaand done. Deleted everything but will keep my account. Honestly this one hurt a little bit since 123rf has been a stable if modest earner over the years. This year has been quite a dissapointment so far after closing accounts at iStock, Deposit and Bigstock. SS is stagnating and having a lot of technical problems, Dreamstime is dying a slow death, the only agency showing nice growth for me is Fotolia/Adobe

Low volume, low price is a terrible combination. Closed my account there end of march. To be fair they sent me the rest of my earnings despite being below the withdraw threshold.

Completely agree. Their reaction was pretty obvious, the last thing we need is some more half baked justifications. Personally I stoped uploading new material and if/when the end of the month numbers go below a certain threshold I won't hesitate to pull the plug.
I guess this is going to be sooner than I expected. My sales this month are a 1/3 of the usual. Combined with the lower commissions there'll be barely enough to withdraw.

There is no point in asking them for "answers" - they've already told you everything you need to know by their actions thus far.
Removal of large quantities of images would get their attention - if anything would induce them to change their mind, and it's possible that nothing would - think the late, not-so-great Dollar Photo Club. Think about what you want them to do - restore the old rate schedule, for example - and set a date by which they do that or the images get removed.
Anything less is a waste of energy. My view is moot as I left the agency when my royalty rate dropped from 45% to 40% because they're not doing well on the sales front but their failures affect my royalty rates.
I'm guessing they're trying to prep the business for a sale so they can get out. It's possible they don't want a contributor revolt as it would put buyers off, so they might act. I doubt that the fundamentals of the business would improve even if they did put the royalty rates back where they were, so it might well be a victory with not much of a contributor benefit. They don't appear to be investing in the business, or advertising in Google searches (you used to see their ads and thumbnails, but now hardly at all)

We get it you don't believe in capping....
Capping may exist. But so far, no-one has supplied any evidence.
