I'm submitting clips to AS/P5/SS/VB using StockSubmitter. Uploading via FTP using FileZilla. All of my keywording is done inside StockSubmitter and when I'm done I export a .csv which I submit to all of the agencies.

Video look differs between browsers, stock sites, media players etc. Different video levels (0-255, 16-235), different gammas (2.2, 2.35, 2.4), different decoding algorythms. Each and every one generates previews in an unique way. A particular browser may be ICC enabled, others may not. Stock sites may convert lets say the rec709 @2.4 gamma video you've just uploaded to srgb @ 2.2. Sadly we can't do anything about it. Just be sure to grade the footage on a calibrated system which should be a good middleground between all of that nastyness buyers have to deal with on stock sites.

Does this effect photo royalty rates or does that remain 50%?

Only vid's (at least for now...)

Pond5 are losing market share at an alarming rate.
Out of interest, who are they losing the market share to?

Adobe?

If you do not enroll in the Exclusivity Program, notwithstanding section 3.b. above, you shall not set the price for an item of video Content that is higher than the lowest price for which the same (or substantially the same) Content item is offered by or on any Other Marketplace, and if we discover that the Content item is offered at a lower price by or on any Other Marketplace, we may change the price of your content in our marketplace.

Not quite sure how to interpret these results.  Surprised you didn't start with your own results...??
I'm currently abroad away from my main PC, that's why. In about a month I should be able to share how my rig does with this benchmark.

Hey,
I'm in search of a GPU to accelerate the process of denoising footage in NV.
It would be great if you could run the NV benchmark on your rig and share your results here. I'm sure it would help me and many other people with choosing the best bang for the buck cpu gpu combo.

You can download the benchmark here: https://www.neatvideo.com/download/neatbench

Be sure to add what kind of hardware are you using. If sth is OC then share the clock speeds too :)

Have a great day!

I'm just curious. For example:
March, 30 sales:
SS 10
P5 10
VB/SB 5
FT/AS 5
Or you could always write only the procentages ;)

Pond5 / Re: I don't like the POND5 search engine...

First of all... selling 4k for under $ 100 is absurd. Second... if they'll need 4k, they will find it.

That still doesn't change my main point that 1080P downscaled from 4K isn't properly exposed...

Pond5 / I don't like the POND5 search engine...
« on: July 15, 2017, 06:32 »
Hello everybody!
I was just fiddling around the other day on P5 with their search engine and while doing that I've encountered one small problem (at least for me).
It shouldn't be a surprise that peeps try to get the best value for their money. When thay have to choose between for example 1080P clip priced at 30$ and a very simillar 4K clip at 55$ for 4K and 27$ for 1080P they would probably take the downscaled 4K version. But that's difficult...
I just wanted to say that if someone sets a price limit on P5 for example for 49$ he/she will only get results that are native 1080P or smaller. The search engine won't show downscaled 4K clips available in that price range.
What do you think about all of this? Personally it drives me crazy  >:(
