Adobe Stock / Re: Bulk delete content from Adobe

the clear this one up-- Do you want to remove all your images on AS? If so, than closing your account is the smartest and fastest way.

That's the real answer, but then we wouldn't have another Duck Thread to laugh at?

That's been the answer since the start, close the account and let Adobe do the deletions.

To be clear, you do know that larger agencies get better options...like how we small folks get pushed to the portal, larger agencies get better submission options. Why don't you mind your business if you don't have anything useful to add ddb

Can you tell me more about how larger agencies get better options? Maybe a screen capture or something to show us what you are referring to? I'd be interested as one of the

"small folks"
Yes deleting the account would be perfect if I was removing everything, but for now the script is best option.

As for upload options, the larger agencies don't have to use the portal, they may just send the images/metadata through aws or some other cloud platform and have it ingested by the adobe team. We used to have this option but were recently told we are too small of an agency - under the new leadership.

Our experience with the big 3 has pretty much always been submit it and they will ingest.

So if you were a bigger agency, they would also delete specific images, without the wholesale, close the account answer, as the only way? Wow, that's considerate.  ::)

As a small person myself, not an agency in any way, and without the knowledge or insight of Mat, I wonder if you could send a list of the images and ask Adobe to remove them. You need to have a way to say what you want removed, so they can know, or you won't have anything to give them.
Yes that's a good point. I do have a list of all of the images, so if I could send them a list of what we'd want removed, that could definitely work too (would be preferred). The only response from adobe has been what Mat said on this forum, though. So for now, the script will be my best option.

Has anyone deleted thousands or hundreds of images from adobe stock at one time? Did you have to go through one by one to delete?

Also curious if agencies or those with larger catalogs had to do it this way also

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

So Mat just told you no, it cannot be done. No matter how many times you ask, it cannot be done.  Although, I think there is a way.  Close your account.
Same thing to you ddb...don't say anything if you don't know what you're talking about. The question is directed to people who know about the better options provided to larger agencies and contributors.

Not all of it, if It was all of the content, then yes that totally makes sense to delete the account. Right now the script seems to be the best option. On other sites where I'm removing everything I just deleted the account entirely.

If you are slightly familiar with scripting, you may be able to use one of those web crawler tools to automated the process.
Great idea - Thank you!

@MatHayward to be clear, you're saying the only option is to select images and delete one by one? So if I need to delete 5,000 images, I have to do so 1 by 1? Is this what you offer to larger partner agencies too?

Has anybody bulk deleted content from adobe stock platform?

I see the delete button, but when I select multiple it just brings up the 'add to collection' option.

When I check the api, it looks like it is meant for search features and not account management.

Open to any guidance.

How can I remove images from the free collection "in review" queue? Also is it possible to refund the $5 for images accepted and remove from free collection? @MatHayward @MatHayward

Will message support for a response, too.

Someone might have already mentioned this, but technically we wouldn't call or label that look as "afro". I wouldn't necessarily call that label racist, really just an inaccurate description. So if someone from our community was searching for that specific term afro, would likely skip over that result.

General Stock Discussion / Re: new site/top post/etc
« on: June 14, 2020, 09:45 »
I actually run a site as well. At our height, we had about 150k images which took a lot of storage and a separate server just for search. I'd say you're looking at a minimum of 250-500/mo for a self hosted solution (like AWS) that is scalable and provides a fast user experience. Plus the initial site development.

I've since changed our platform to a small collection and now can run it a lot more cheaply.

Out of curiosity - does anyone mind sharing what their average yearly number of downloads are? Based on most of the comments, Is 5000 an easy goal for most?

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Last year I had 45 video downloads... so that puts me at 360 downloads with the x8 for videos. Should make the 150 without too much trouble, but definitely not the 5000.

I can make the 150 downloads, but I have and need the full Creative Cloud (animations, so AE, PS, Ill, etcetera) so what could I do with the single CC subscription?
Thank you all for sharing! I mainly contribute to premium and just this year started contributing to the micro/core collection. I might not make the goal but think it's cool for those that can!

I've been paying for the full adobe suite so long I'm just used to it

Mine dropped in February and March is down too... I suspect Corona virus 90% the cause. Adobe has been performing well, but dropped the biggest when they added Hero Images and EyeEm in February as well.

Adobe Stock / Re: Hand Washing Search
« on: March 11, 2020, 13:34 »
Hi All,

Thank you to everyone who joined the webinar on search this past Friday. I hope it was informative and that you got something from it. We touched a bit on the current trending search for Wuhan, China content. I've just learned in addition to Wuhan searches, we are seeing an increase in search for effective handwashing techniques right now. If you are looking for something to shoot right now, go find your favorite hand model, get them soaped up and let the hot water run (for at least 20 seconds....it's not just good stock, it's good hygiene!).

In case you missed the webinar about Adobe Stock search, you can view the recording here: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/search-tips-and-tricks

Does it count for premium?

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

We (Diversity Photos) currently contribute to Premium as well and are looking to add 5 more photographer contributors to our collective. We've had a good experience with premium so far. Our focus is on global diversity. You can check us out at http://adobe.diversityphotos.com or www.diversityphotos.com - feel free to reach out if you're interested.

I met the qualifications before the email went out, but haven't received anything. Does it matter if my current cc subscription is under a different account than my stock account?
