There's always room for new and better images.
I have a file that I uploaded to SS about a month ago and it is currently in the second row on the first page of popular search on a keyword that brings 11,000+ pages of results.
A bit of luck involved there but it can still happen.

OK, I finally found it.
On a page, you need to click 'screen options' in the upper right and then click the 'discussions' check box. That is confusing because the option next to it is 'comments' which one might assume has something to do with comments.

For the life of me I cant find where to turn off commenting on my pages.

Ok, so I ended up just going and downloading the same numbered file via FTP to figure out which image sold.
Might there be an easier way to find out in the future?

Just had my first sale! Might be the best $7 sale I've ever had.  One question... The transaction came through with the image number, how can I easily figure out which image sold?

I got a message from an actual buyer this morning but the e-mail address of the message showed my SY admin e-mail address, not the buyer's address. I tried a submitting few test messages via the contact form and had the same issue each time. Whatever contact address I'd enter would not come through.
I downloaded a couple of new contact form plug-ins and had the same issue with those as well.
I deactivated the "SYMBIOSTOCK - Emails and Notifications" plugin and the problem went away.

My site easily gets (at min) 50 spam signups to 1 legit.
Awesome, I only have 43 to go until I get a legit one. I think the spam sign-ups are a great sign. If the spammers can find me, the buyers can find me.

Most of my files are unique to me, I don't have any isolated fruit, so I'm not too concerned about losing a sale to a lower priced site that I'm networked to. I do believe that once this is up and running, the advantages of being connected to other sites will far outweigh the rare lost sale to one of your SymbioFriends.
If you do find that someone has a lot of similar images at a lower price, don't network with them.

My results on Google Image search results are getting better each day.
I experimented with uploading modified versions of my existing stock artwork to my Symbio site and I have already seen some great results.
As you can see below, the same file that has been indexed at 123RF for a while, now also appears at my Symbio site after a few revisions.

I don't have a problem with the current size. I think if you can autotrace your images in Ai you need a better watermark.
