First you need to now what vector is! All what you do in illustrator, coreldraw, ink or some other vector program do is a vector file! (dont count plaice a image or photo into your file) If you place one image into your file and save it as one eps, the image or photo is still one image or photo! The program is just a toll to draw, like a pen or bit of paper, (i now that is more complex that a bit of paper). If you dont now how to draw is very difficult to learn. But if you look into the web and read some books you will see that in the end is not that hard. Best of luck

So the question is if you upload on the christmas week, If i put stuff in SS this week, probably nobody buy (vacations) so in the beginning of the year my new stuff is already old and dont show in the newest at SS, Right?

My case was different. I just try stockXpert after i was in all other sites (SS, Is, DT, CS, SV, Albumo, FT, Alamy, 123RF, and so on). The reason was that my work was not stock! I upload 2 photos and 3 vectors! After i get rejected and very mad i send them one email were i explain my frustration and the links to all my other sites were they consider my work as stock and that in fact i sell that kind of work. They ask me to upload again with same stuff different from what i have already upload to the other sites. I get in and in 3 months make 75$. Not bad for "not stock work"

I dont now about the sony but i have a fuji S9600 that i use for stock. And i what to buy a DSLR. The Fuji is a very good camera for the price if you want to take pictures to your family or your cat. But if you want to go to stock, buy a dslr. I have a lot of problems with stock because the noise. And the camera dont let you do what you do with a DSLR.
Im just wait ($$$$) for the opportunity to buy a new DSLR. You can use the Fuji in stock but is most difficult to do stock image with this machine that with a DSLR. And if your question is the money, you can buy the Canon 350D for the same price (a little more) and you will do better.

I have a lot of pictures pending in stockxpert. Today they make one month and i decide to celebrate the event by post in the forum that my pending pictures have already a month. For my surprise almost my pictures have be review and rejected one hour later. All this photos was accepted in IS, SS, DT i know that avery agency is different but the reason that stockexpert give is: "Rejected - [ Thanks but we have enough images like this already. ]"
The funny is that a big part of this images are from typical Portuguese's landscapes and boats that dont exist in any other part of the world, and after a quick look around in stockxpert i just can find only 2 or 3 photos from this kind of subject. We can find hundreds of photos of flower and some other stuff and a company have 2 or 3 photos from something that you only can find in this part of the world is to much?

I think that is a decision of the person that participate in the contest to make it a political statement. If you want to look at the six pictures and see a political statement you are in your right but you can only see 6 different pictures! I dont now if the idea at crestock is to make a political statement, but the person with that power is the one that make a picture and participate the contest!
The fact that in the world are one or several company that sell weapons, that make me a killer? like in this case, is only a political statement if you or i want. But in my personal opinion, if i was the CEO of a company that work with lots of people from different places, culture, religions and ideas, i try to avoid all that cod by misunderstood.

I confess that i dont now very much from photographic equipment. Im relativity new in this area. I want to buy a new camera and the other day i was looking around at pixmania.com and compare 2 cameras, the canon 400D and the Canon 40D. To me they are much equal one to another, but this is just to me. I now that the 40D is a best machine but can anyone please tell me why i must spend 2 the money from the 400D in the 40D.

For the past days i have 90% of my submissions to Albumo rejected. They say that is not stock work. Part of me is happy because is a sign that they are star to prepare to going to the market, But another part of me is very hungry because the work that they are rejected are accepted ate DT IS SS FT SX. I think all this other sites are more capable to say if this is stock or not, after all they are in business along time comparing with albumo. What is your opinion? Did you guys have similar rejections this days at albumo?

For some time that i notice that istock is more difficult (at least for photos) but im not a professional photograph and my machine is not the beast and i lear to accept all the rejections. But im a designer and i have some vector in istock and no problem until the last month! My accepted ration on vector is almost 100%. This month i have already 2 from 2 vectors that i upload rejected were the reason for the rejection is: We're sorry, but we feel that the details in your outlines could be sharper/cleaner.. Can you explain what this mean? What is your opinion? I think that in illustration, is very subjective, because is not a real thing but is what i imagine! This is the image http://www.ilustracoes.net/paginas/woman.html and http://www.ilustracoes.net/paginas/raven.html
