These are two sites I have some difficulty finding my way, so here are some questions.
Cafepress. In the Basic Shop, which is free, I can only have one product of each type, but I can have more than one shop. So I can have for instance a store "Summer", with a mug, a card and a mousepad in it, and a store "Spring", with another mug, card and mousepad in it. Right? What is then the purpose of many free shops?
Yeah, that restriction is really annoying. I don't want to pay $4.99 and a commission. I'm stubborn like that.

I read some of your twitter pages and I still don't see what is the purpose of it. I'm getting old!!!
Advertising mostly.

How is swine flu in your countries or in your particular area?
I haven't heard much about it for several months. Then again, I don't keep up with the local news much. Several months ago though, when it first came out, some people had a mild panic attack about it thanks to the media mostly. I noticed that lots of antibiotic sprays simply vanished from store shelves as people sought to protect themselves from the virus. I don't put much stock in this "new" flu because the normal flu kills more than thirty thousand people annually. Now sometimes the media starts saying that the swine flue will be back in the fall, and it probably will. But I really don't think that it's going to do that much damage compared to the normal flu. I'm in the US.

For expensive cameras, I prefer to buy new. I once purchased a refurbished 5D from Adorama, and it had problems. I was able to return it easily enough though, and I received my money back. For the record, I decided to purchase a new camera from Adorama after my refurbished experience; it works splendidly. So while I'm happy with my new camera, in my experience, it's a gamble to buy refurbished. Even more so when it's an expensive item.

Yeah, it takes a while for the processing to finish. Maybe a few weeks. And once your payment becomes "cleared", then you will be paid the following month if the balance is greater than $25. If you never go beyond the $25 dollar minimum, then you will be paid the following year. Link:http://zazzle.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/544

If all else fails, you can always sell it on eBay. That's what I do.

That's the reason: subs
By opting out, you guys killed your files on the most downloaded sort order unfortunately.
That was the only reason I opted-in. Not for 0.30 cents! Not because I enjoy the subs! Only to be able to stay high on "most downloaded" order and compete with others who opted-in!
Do you think I should bother opting back in since iStockphoto is going to be utilizing the Photos.com deal anyway? I'm just not sure it's going to matter when iStockphoto takes over.

My sales have died at StockXpert, but I did opt-out of the Photos.com subscriptions around two months ago; this seems to have affected my sales. Not that subscriptions matter anymore.

The site that you uploaded your images to may have converted them to CMYK. This would explain the color shift.

What about a micro photographer who sells the same image for 0.25 at SS and 70 credits (XXXL) at IS?
It's actually 28 credits for an XXXL.

Out of curiosity, how many files do you have with Alamy? And congratulations with the sale.

I'm surprised they didn't at least upgrade the megapixels to five or something. I know it's not a huge deal, but hey, my phone has eight megapixels.

I haven't really used it yet, but I love the commercials they use to advertise it.

If I have an image set as RM on Alamy, can I sell that image on Zazzle or Cafepress as a print? The file isn't exclusive to Alamy. Thanks.

Hmmmm... not sure why you can't see the box, but here's a screengrab of the bottom of the page (where you type 'I Agree') using Safari on a Mac.

Thanks. For some bizarre reason, it's showing up now. It's probably some security software that I disabled on my end or something.

Hi. For the new non-exclusive license agreement are we supposed to check off or write that we agree to the terms at the bottom of the document? Because I don't see where to write this. I tried four different browsers but nothing seems to show anything at the end of the page. I'm confused. I should add that I can see the non-exclusive text/document; I just don't see where I'm supposed to sign it because that part doesn't show up for me.

Weird. In my two years with iStockphoto, I've never had a single referral from them. It's on my website and elsewhere. Oh well.

Ermmmm....I would like to ask you guys something.... Did someone of you...maybe...had some unexplainable 40 cents at Dt today?? I had it, and my friend had it. There is no downloads, and no referral earnings...there is nothing in statistics....on 40 cents more in earnings.
I thought it was just me.

I made one of those Squidoo websites a year or two ago, and I've recently added the ability for individuals to add a link to their gallery on the lens. So if you want to add yours and gain some free publicity feel free. Scroll down three fourths of the way down the page and look for the subtitle "List Your Gallery" then click "add to this list". Here's the link: http://www.squidoo.com/sell-merchandiseIt wont show up immediately because I have to approve each of the links. This helps keep spam in check. Give it a day or two. Oh, and the website is about microstock in case you're wondering.

What do you think of Vectorstock's prices? It seems to me like they make almost everything one credit. Lots of these files would sell for ten credits at iStockphoto or other agencies. Maybe more. I guess they're just trying to compete. But still, it seems far too cheap to me. Here's an example of a one credit file that should probably be more like ten credits: http://www.vectorstock.com/royalty-free-vector/46340Again, just curious as to what everyone else thinks. I will give them credit for doing a decent job on re-designing their website, though.

Well, I deleted some images from them without any trouble. The images were gone in a couple of days.

April was bad for me as well, but good everywhere else. It's probably just a bump in the road. Or the buyers are going elsewhere because my sales numbers (overall) are still stable.
