They have a list of what technical issues mean. https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/quality-and-technical-issues.html
Thank you Davidbautista for the link. So "technical error" can be all and nothing. In my case it was nothing as I re-submitted all 8 rejected filles and they were all accepted. Files were unchanged, onlu downsized to 98% to avoid be "identical". Not very serious AS.

I had few rejections at Fotolia. I have no problem with, they decide. But in my opinion giving for rejection an enigmatic "technical error" reason is not productive. The file is corrupted? Should I reupload? Technical problem on their side? Wrong metadata?
Is it so difficult to set an unambiguous check list in 2019 for Adobe?

Don't be so pessimistic. I think the video part, which is doing well, will remain the same. They will launch huge photo part advertising campaign and to do this lower commission to 40% + standardise prices.

love it how matt jumps on every thread with positive news, but when the crap hits the fan the replies become far and between., the 12.5% is worrying though, wonder how they are going to spin that.
Read post #52. I dont think Mat works in the accounting dept., either. Since he is a photographer himself, I am sure when he knows something, he will share it here. Dont shoot the messenger. Complain to Adobe support.
I don't think he is 'shooting' messenger. Mat is a nice person for sure but he is Adobe PR guy and it's a part of his job. I am curious how Adobe will deal with this problem. So far they are very amateurish. Or maybe it on purpose to hide something sleazy.

Fotolia. I avoid to use AS as long as I can.

I used macro recorder that automates mouse and keyboard operation to delete all my images there. Once you configured it everything goes quit fast.

Like majority of contributors I hate what happened in 2013(?) and what became iStock. But to be honest there is one think I like , the kind of photos that sell here. IStock/Getty is the only place where photos (my) I like sell all the time. Photos which are ... just photos and not 'digital art'. SS and AdobeStock selling, from my experience, only heavy altered artificial stuff.

WHY?...what the heck are you Hiding....or trying to Hide???
I did think the same but was too polite to say it
Stolen photos?
OMG, you three should work for CIA.
There can be many, legitimate, reasons why to remove metadata. For example I delete them before uploading as I always put many additional and personal data concerning shooting and I don't want provide them to agencies paying me pennies. Example: - exact location, including GPS position - additional confidential info about model and location - camera, software - shooting precise setup (lighting...) - info about additional staff ( make-up artist, food stylist) - client info. Yes, sometimes some photos taken during on assigment could be used for stock - ...
To respond OP I use Xnview ( edit, medadata, clean metadata)
I am wondering why you would put all that info in the metadata, only to turn around and remove it before upload. Wouldnt putting that info in Bridge or Lightroom be a more efficient way?
Maybe, have no idea as I don't have Lightroom, Bridge...

I see no benefit to creating an Adobe Account and syncing it. Now I guess I have no choice but at the moment I can't log in.
This does not inspire me with any confidence at all.
They force us to sync but they didin't prepare it. Doesn't look professional. "503 Service Unavailable No server is available to handle this request." It makes me want to buy CC subscription for 10 years

What happens when a subscription ends? No software, everything stops working. I've read that the cloud storage stays for a year, so good news you don't get locked out of your own files.
Is the subscription by month or actual date? If I subscribe today will it end Oct. 31st 2019 or Oct. 4th 2018?
This Scott Kelby article does a good job answering your question: https://lightroomkillertips.com/happens-cancel-lightroom-cc-subscription/

Good news, it seems working now. But as Scott Kelly is not Adobe's employee his foundings are not reliable. Is there any official statement from Adobe? Will it work in the futur as well?

I am trying to find my Fotolia payments list. Impossible, not only the last pending but even old "credit conversion" disappeared. Anyone has an idea where can I find it? BTW I am only on Fotolia and not on AS. Thanks
