Payoneer / Did you know Payoneer has a referral program?
« on: November 24, 2011, 07:57 »
Hi everyone!

I've seen that many of you often ask to have companies work with Payoneer. I just wanted to let you know that we have a referral program that will earn you cash for each partner that you refer to Payoneer and signs up with us.

You can read the details here on our site: http://www.payoneer.com/referral.aspx

Or ask me about it any time.

So who else would you like working with Payoneer? Let us know!

Hi Freedom,

You can use any Visa or MasterCard to load your Payoneer card if you want to add funds. Most people have one or the other, so you have the option to load.

I don't see the benefit of adding cash to your Payoneer card unless you want to make a card to card transfer (to someone else who has the card) as well. Many people do it because they convert their money into USD and have it on one card, but judging by your questions, you are in the US or Canada, so it probably isn't in your best interest to do so.

We currently only offer the option to load through Visa or MasterCard for international users.

I thought we no longer offered transfers from US bank accounts for US-based cardholders, but apparently we still do. I am sorry for misleading you.

When you go to Load Money to Card, after you fill out the amount and email address of the receiver, there is an option for ACH. It only appears from US cardholders, not international cardholders.

Again, I'm sorry for the confusion. I thought the option was removed entirely.

Yes, you are correct, you can't currently load your card via a bank account, only through a Visa or MasterCard (which can be associated with your local bank account, of course).

I'm sorry if I wasn't more clear.

Hi Freedom,

Yes, that's what I said. You CAN load your card on your own, but only through a Visa or MasterCard, not through a bank account.

Thanks for coming by. I don't have the card but am interested in getting one through iStock. My question is, if I have a card, can I add cash from my pocket? For instance, if I have $500 from iStock, but I need to buy some thing for $1000, how can I add cash?

Hi!

Yes, you can load the card with a Visa or MasterCard. As long as they are accepted internationally, of course.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.  :)

I also moved this thread to the Payoneer section of the forum
http://www.microstockgroup.com/payoneer/

where you can also set up an email notification any time there is a new thread.

Thanks, Leaf! I posted in that area since that's where I saw everyone talking about us. Didn't realize we had an area  :o

Talia,

I'm having the worst support from Payoneer.

I applied my Payonner via Dreamstime, received the card, had a payment, so far so good.

But after some time not using it, and when I wanted to log in to check my blance, I found that I'd lost my password.

Since, then I'm having a very slow response from support. Received an e-mail that they have closed my account (WHAT!) and disconnected it from the partner.

I really don't understand.

How can you close an account with money in there?
Is there a phone number I could call?

Again, [email protected] takes forever to answer (no less than 9 days)

First of all, I am REALLY sorry that you have had such a bad experience. I would need to look into your particular case - can you give me you ticket ID (starts with LTK)?

Generally speaking, losing the card and password means that the account becomes suspicious. On our end, it is possible someone is posing as you and we don't want anyone to attempt to steal your money. Our support is answering emails within just over a day (around 26 hours - we have stats), but in a case like yours, this moves to our risk department, which is what causes the delay.

We do not shut down accounts and keep the money - if we block an account, we get the money in your account to you, so don't worry about that part, you will definitely get whatever you had in there.

Anyway, like I said, please send me your ticket ID so I can check for you, and I will do my best to escalate this and get it solved quickly.

You can email me directly at taliakl at payoneer.com if you'd rather not make your ticket ID public. Either way, with your ticket number I have your email and we will continue this offline.

Again, I am really sorry for the problem you have had. We have our phone numbers published on our site and are available now for calls (I am not there right now, though).

Ok, just to make things clear - currently i use payoneer card and, besides the fixed fee, i pay up to 3% above market exchangle rate each time i withdraw at ATM. So, are users of your local bank transfer service charged that extra 3%?

If not, it would make sense to stop using the card and start using local bank transfer, even if the fixed 'per transaction' fee is a bit higher.

The up-to-3% fee that is set by MasterCard is per country and currency, as are the bank transfers. I honestly don't know what the percentages are since I am positive they change daily (since the rates change daily).

It depends on which country you are from, but chances are that the difference isn't so large unless you arw transferring sums in the thousands each time.

Hi hafssol1!

There are no other charges for the transfer, other than the activation fee (which is one time). The conversion fees are actually set by the bank in this case, not MasterCard, since it doesn't involve the card at all. It goes directly into your bank account, so you don' actually receive a card.

We've actually negotiated very low exchange fees, some lower than the standard even, for this service. We don't take anything extra.

Hi cobalt,

Go ahead and just contact our support team. Since it's been so long since your account was active, it may be blocked anyway (we can undo this manually, don't worry).

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, ljupco.

About the others, of course we would love to work with them. I've seen a couple of requests on our own forums for Fotolia and Shutterstock, but I think the two companies (and others) need to know that y'all want Payoneer.

You should open a thread (here or on our forums) about each company you want to work with Payoneer and have everyone post there. Then I will have our account manger go to their people and say, "Look how much your users want Payoneer!" Maybe that will help.  :o

Hi Cobalt!

Well, good thing, then  8)

We sent out new cards when we switched banks at the end of 2010,  but only sent them to active accounts. If you never received yours, but your account was active, then we will send you another card for free.

You should contact our support team - feel free to post your ticket ID (starts with LTK) and I will try to speed it up.

Payoneer / Official Payoneer Support Thread
« on: August 03, 2011, 06:36 »
Hi everyone!

I've been here before, but I wanted to officially introduce myself. I am Talia, Payoneer's director of community. I see that lately the conversation here about Payoneer has grown, so I wanted to let you know that I am here (and on our own forums) if you ever have any questions.

In short, Payoneer offers several payment solutions including a prepaid MasterCard, ACH, and direct bank transfers (to 30 countries so far, and more opening up all the time).

I would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

I look forward to talking to you!

P.S. If any of you are also affiliates, I will be at Affiliate Summit in NYC later this month - let me know if you'd like to meet up!  ;D

Hi guys,

I'm Talia, Payoneer's director of community. I know this is a slightly old topic, but since I am very interested in seeing your comments about Payoneer, I read this thread. I'd like to invite all of you (and your friends!) to post on our forums that you'd like to work with Fotolia and we will go to them with the thread and show that you'd like it - we can try to make this happen together. :-)

And in teh meanwhile, if you have any questions about Payoneer, you can email me at [email protected].

Payoneer / Re: Opinions on Payoneer card please?
« on: April 24, 2011, 03:55 »
Hi guys,

I'm Talia, Payoneer's director of community.

You can stop using the Payoneer card at any time. Just use up the funds (withdraw through ATM, use it to make a purchase, etc), and once your account has been inactive for 2 months, we close it. If you decide to use it again, just let us know and we'll reopen it.

If you have any questions about Payoneer, feel free to email me at [email protected] or ask me here.

Thanks!
