Isolation
always been problem at iStok,
they always replay with two errors
1st is isolation and second is overfitered or oversaturated but the very thin border border of this is flatt dull colors.
After that when you fix that "problems" they say that image is no stock image???
But not always. They always complain on two complement side so they in that way may dont make mistake for they boss after you eventually complain for that image.
So If you want to complain to someone just try and thats it. (In my language Fart in the Pot)-for better sound.
Anyhow they are want to sell youre audiostreams and they see or hear noise to, over sharpened of overuse of noise programs.
Best one is post of my video rejections to explain them how I do that???
Another way in my language iStock means CATTLE with little teeth.
So how I can explain to my self.
If I am not they exclusive this means that I am not CATTLE.
If you are not CATTLE you have not place in they barn.

StockXpert.com / Is it possible or it is ordinary
« on: June 23, 2008, 18:15 »
On the site there is some check box and it is talking about that we (authors or submiters to StockXpert allow them to sell our images throw their own channels)
Is that mean E.G. some one buyer thru Jupiter can buy my image but for microstock price (that is what I see) , But Jupiter from that buyer earn 50, 100, 200 or some this kind of bucks???

In my language iSTOC(k)a means Cattle, so I treat they like they treat me.
Small vermin bugs which are constantly making my percentage lower and lower.
See the new inspectors
http://www.istockphoto.com/article_view.php?ID=147&Page=3
if that kind of inspector will be soon or shes roll on iStock, for profesional state of view it is absolutely nonsense,
but it is good for Us submiters, she will accept enough images to by 2 pairs of shoes in week.
Others are soo boring but also more pain in the ass. (Because of shoes)
WHATS UP THERE ON iStock?????
Are they really belive that they can make employee of every creature who are not havent nothig to do and pick it from bus, railway or other station?????

I see that threre are new rewievers are at BS. I have 95% aceptance ratio with shity photos but in last 15 or 20 days they rejections are about 30% of uploaded photos which are accepted on SS IS and others.
Has some of you notice that?
Also have first photo in portfolio of about 700 pics rejected for bad keywords precise of too much words which do not corespond to it.
Is it new politics like on CS or ...

I am in this beautiful microstock  game one year, first on SS than DT and third IS. On IS I am 3 months and everybody which work in vectors know that is best site and rejections in tehnical moment is allways correct, but I am little bit affraid to return them on stupid comments abouth other rejections like : from where is that drawing-  which is my own. I work only 2D and 3D vector drawings 15 years and I have more than thousand very various themas and motives. First time I mean that many of them are not applicable for microstocks, but after some time I seen that all is applicable what is artististic and tehnical correct. Result in my mind: when I will have 2 thousends  bucks/mt on IS I will go ex. I dont want go on more sites than this three because  I mean that they are best and enaugh if you like to know whats metter with your art. peace from Croatia

Hehe
nice try
but in the croatian language
STOK-a means CATTLE
and I dont want to do business with Cattle

Hi
I think thats no way to pass with that vectors
Lucky does now exist at IS

Just so I'm absolutely certain, these three illustrations would fail the iStockphoto vector illustration test because they're silhouettes right? Or should I submit them and see what happens(maybe I'll get lucky)?

Dont disturb youre self with that.
if you are not exclusive there.
They exclusive player can do what they want, for us they say we can not accept just because.
I know why.
They exclusive players will do it for them after they see what you done so they will make something on variation of youre theme.

He he
I have download some small free pic shooted with Phase One camera, I deteted whole pic on it and paste mine from eos350.
So ipic and exif data are saved from I Phase One, after that just add keywords and so on and that stupid assholles of rewiewers think that I have Phase One and they accept my photo.
I think that they have on they rewiever aplication automatic detection of camera type, so briliant photos from low end cameras never be on reviever eyes, because first filter block you to came to this process.

Hm
Mabe I miss something but when I try upload Ill 8.0 eps format my files are unknown format, only ai files but that not good idea.
Previews are rasterized in RGB colors and that is bad because its not real colors???
Who will buy radioactive flags or anything.
If I am buyer Ill never buy my illustrations or any else because they looks awfully from RGB prew in ai format.
Whats you're opinion?
Forget this if they accepting ill 8. eps format

I'm curious- I talk to people everyday about photography and design.  There are ebbs and flows to every industry, but as a group we seem to have gotten over the hump of people giving 'microstock' respect.  The heated debates between macro and micro still happen, but the conversation seems to have drifted to the two living in harmony. I don't really care.

Lately I've noticed more companies embracing the term 'microstock' to define their service or product.  My question is, what does 'microstock' mean now? Are there specific characteristics?  Community? Price point?

My first replay on forum but I don't know if I do it all right.
lets begin
I'm working in company on DTP and DTR for licenced Elle, Elle Decor, few times for National Geographic, Croatian issue, and I must to tell you that these 90% of photographers cannot pass basic microstock test, I mean IS, SS and SExp.
They are on pay list and they don't WANT to know anything about any Noise, artifacting or so on (for them its cool).
Also they don't want to know nothing about microStock because they thing that every of they picture cost xxx USD or XXXXXXX USD.
If you want more let me know to tell other details to remove mask from HIGH photographers and HIGH companies.
