I am having my best day ever at SS.This month will be a BME I am sure since I have 144 downloads this months. In more details I upload everyday and my porfolio has 151 images now. Hope shutterstock will not die to soon since it represents 50 % of my earnings, time will tell I guess  L

Sales at Fotolia are so unpredictable I think but overall the $/image of portfolio compared to other sites like IS is very low. Sites like StockXpert,CT,123RF will catch up soon I think.
I calculate that I will need 1500 images to make $ 100 a month...
I have 560 at the moment..... still a long way to go

Thanks Pixart:) It is true all of this takes an awful lot of time ! yes it will interesting to follow the trend of v/h. I plan to do the same with the same photo with different colors now. I will post tomorrow my earnings so stay tuned:) and please call me Laurent L

Hello all,
Since this thread is opened I have a question about submissions in SS.
Browsing some portfolios, I came across different variations of the same picture : for example a picture of a door where color was red on one and yellow on the other.Is it ok to do that on SS, I though it was not ?

Thanks for replying, very impressive number I always thought $ 1 was very good but more than $ 2 is very very good.
My first month at SS was a bit higher also and it stabilized the 2nd months but I bet you will saty at more than $ 1 if you keep uploading
