New Sites - General / Re: Stockerwill new site
« on: April 29, 2021, 18:38 »
I have had two downloads in 7 days for 0.8 $ each, with 2500 images. I am going up these days to reach 5,001, maybe in a few months they will start working well, or maybe they will disappear!

27
Worse than last year, the same trend as in others agencies.

New Sites - General / Stockerwill new site
« on: April 18, 2021, 12:10 »
I just got to know this new platform and signed up to try it, but the design doesn't seem very professional to me. Has anyone had any experience with them? It does not have subscriptions, it is only payment for download, and it would ear us at least 0.88 $ I leave you a link with an affiliate https://stockerwill.com/?aff=1155

"Why not try and negotiate for a better deal."

How does someone do that? I've never had any agency offer to negotiate and I've never seen any of them listen to us.

Cavan Images does it, you can go from 40% to 50% if you convince them.

yeah, I'm not concerned at all, I find it curious that they act "cleaning" their database without complaint. Maybe it would be great if other agencies deleted the millions of photos that are more than 3 years old, for example, without ever having been sold.

We are in the process of evaluating our suppliers and have chosen your portfolio among others to evaluate, as, unfortunately, we are cleaning up the database.

We have noticed that our cooperation which started in 2019, has not been very fruitful.

In this process, we have decided to end the cooperation with you due to low sales which show that the uploaded material is not very demanded by our customers and uploading material that is not accepted in our database.

Your portfolio has been deleted and your uploading rights have been shut down as of today.

In the next two weeks, your account will be fully deleted and you will be paid out what we owe you in two weeks as well.

Wishing you good luck in your future endeavors!

If the previous system was slow and tedious, this has made it worse, it seems that we have returned to the web design of the twentieth century.

Well, improving the times in which the new photos are reviewed would be fine, after two months in queue some of my photos have been rejected, while most of them simply continue "In review"

Exactly, about $ 100 below which would be double for me. But in the payments section, in unpaid income there are $ 106 pending payment, which will eventually be paid ... Lack of liquidity?

Hosting and transferring data from dedicated servers costs a lot of money, so to be profitable it does not matter how many photos you have, but rather that your customers find the ones they need and download them.

The success of a new platform depends on satisfying your customers while having good content providers.

There are millions of good photographers, but there are few customers willing to bet on a new platform. Why pay for what they can get for free -pixabay, etc- or at a very low cost -Freepik, istock ...-? That is the question you have to solve.

You can count on my portfolio, but the exclusivity today is only for very very top photographers. If you need more help, my wife works in a startup incubator in Valencia ...

With a similar commission -0.09 $ FrPk- that SS, in FrPk you sell three times more than in SS. Most contributors, including myself, do more $$ on Frpk than SS so far in 2020. But Frpk barely accepts new contributors and rejects 90% of the photos you send...

Fantastic! Then Pablo Blanes has plenty of money to pay me for all the vectors of mine he stole. Would you like my PayPal account info so he can send the money directly?

Really bad if so, so much so that it is a crime in Spain. I can recommend you spanish lawyers, I know some.

Spotify of stock. If you have a niche, dont upload there. Only for 2007 burned images

Good point. Lohasclavao.

Yes, but if you sell 1,000 images at 0.11 = 110 profit. At 0.06 per image = 60. And you will see that price in a month or two ...

I wonder if, as professional photographers, it is worth flooding the stock market with thousands of our photos for 60 / month
A few months ago, FPK was my first agency in income, then the second, now it is the third, behind SS and AdobeS, and tied with Istock in 3rd place. Is it worth selling 1,000 images for 60? Doesn't that dilute our sales in other agencies? Does it not degrade our own portfolios in agencies where you can earn 5, 10 or 20 times more for the same image?

I have stopped uploading photos to fpk this month, and I will think if it pays me to continue uploading. If I want to delete my photos, I will have to wait a full year due to their policies ...

46
Tenebroso, 6 months ago they paid 0.11 per download, 5 months ago, 0.10, 4 months ago at 0.09, 3 months ago at 0.08, last month and May at 0.07 ... I don't know if you see the trend, but I wonder how much the images will be sold in FPK in the near future ... And I have heard that in a few months they will start offering videos ...

47
0 sales in the last 6 months.

48
I'm sorry that happened to you, however today they have reviewed 14 videos that I uploaded about 7 days ago, with the result of 5 approved and the others rejected due to noise, similar, etc.

From 15-20 downloads a day, to 1 or 0 the last three days, I have even disappeared some downloads from the previous day.

:o What an inadequate way to communicate these changes, they  have created confusion and unease.

My guess is, they charge 1 whatever currency is used to pay for an image, and then convert it to $. For example, I had 1 sale, and it was listed as 0,39$. So, for 1 I get 0,35, which converted to $ is 0,39$

That is, exactly.
