Disappointing.

Anyone have a good discount code?

52
I've got 6800 video pack sales in the last week. About $0,25 each

Wow!

Nothing unusual here :(

So, I guess no bonus free subscription program this year?

Can you share your experience, what sells and what doesn't?

Nope, lol.

I want to be able to critique agencies without fear of being banned (like happened to Sean and Jo Ann).
And what happened to them there? Are there a lot of snitches on the forum?

It wasnt really for being critical.  It was due to an overzealous and confused leadership.

I do mostly Disney stuff on there, but today I made a photo related video for fun.

Not worry about it.  End usage is the buyers problem.

Have to say, so far not knocking my socks off in terms of additional sales. Hopefully when the marketing kicks in that will change.

No, it wasn't a mistake. It was a solid move. This is very early days so I would strongly encourage you to remain patient.

thanks,

Mat Hayward

Indeed but selling very well already. I created a collection within AS to monitor sales and already notched around 250 sales so far.

I made a collection, but is there anyway to see the stats on it without just counting downloads up?

Sometimes I wish I didnt know what I know, either.

Lol, I hear the same nonsense form my Q relatives that they know something.

JFC, how uncreative.

Syndicated news stories are allowed to re-use the image content for no extra fee.  Maybe you ran into that.

65
I reached out to Dreamstime asking about this, and I received a reply stating that there has been no change in the unsold image policy. Contributors still have the same three choices: donate to free section, delete, or keep online in portfolio.

But it should be an -opt in-.  Not an -opt out-.

Today was the hottest day ever recorded in most of Europe.

Fun scientific facts:

Hottest temperature recorded in Europe was 48.0 C in Greece (Athens) on July 10, 1977.

US record: 10 July 1913 , 56.7 C

So climate changes didn't even manage to break the records from times way before them.

It appears you don't understand the difference between "weather" (localized measurements and occurrences) and "climate" (overall patterns and trends).

Neat tool but I only see this tool creating "good enough" avatar graphics and not something you would sell on MS. Besides wouldn't that be cheating/stealing? I mean you are using other people's work.

Did you not read the OPs posts?

The AI is a tool like any other tool.  You use it to create images.  Youve used your own work to train it.  I dont see why you need any releases uploaded at all.  And afaik, an agency only calls it a photo if it was created pixel by pixel and an illustration if created with vector software.  So, a photo.

I look to have bottomed out Q2 of 2021 and slowly climbing back up.

70
Keep in mind you can only pay $600 until you have to send out a 1099.

Must be why one of their people got in touch with me a couple weeks ago on LinkedIn.

72

Keep in mind, if you have 20 photos approved for Free, we would pay you $100 (assuming you are paid in USD). The cost of the Creative Cloud Photography plan is $9.99 so you could use that $100 to pay for the first 10 months of the subscription. If you had 24 files approved for the Free collection, you could pay for the entire year. This way, the many thousands of contributors who have already received a complimentary Creative Cloud for their successful contribution to Adobe Stock can choose to spend the money they receive on something else.

Thanks again,

Mat Hayward

So does this means there will not be any CC bonus program this year?

That's not at all what he said.

73
All the ones that are currently free don't have a slider.  Just a box that says "free".  Doesn't seem like a choice for those.  Or are those automatically not going to be re-admitted at all?

I'm sorry you feel that way @Chillswell

Well, you've clearly singled me out here haven't you?
have you read the forums? its not just me who feels this way.

Youre singled out because he was directly responding to your comment which was directed towards his post.  You know that though.
