Hi everybody! This month I've reached 500$ on SS: obviously now I'm enjoying the new royalties, but I'm also having more downloads than normal! Do you know if the raise of level gives also a best placement in the searches?

Anyway, this isn't the first stolen image I've found; in the other cases I wrote to the admin of the site (mostly blogs) and they've removed the picture. This is the first time that I get no response and that's pissing me off. I've contacted 123RF admins and I'm waiting for an answer.

Your photo has been ripped by someone else who created that "illustration" that this blogger posted.
You can do a Google Image search for your image and see that several web sites posted that image of yours.
At this point I would let 123RF handle it since their logo is on it. Otherwise you are going to spend the next few weeks writing DMCA claims to all those web sites.
Ok, thanks for your advice

Is DP still connected to the pirate site? Anyway, the fact that they hide their physical location it's too suspicious. I think I will not join them.

I'm about to join DepositPhotos, the only thing that's telling me to not do that it's the rumor about the connection with a piracy site. I know there is only one person (or maybe just a little more) complaining about that in a topic, and that complaint it's about one year ago; but it's still bothering me. What can you say about it? It's DP a safe place or not?

From a few days the uploads on 123RF are stopped "to facilitate a scheduled maintenance of our storage system". When will uploads be allowed again?

I've updated to version 1.5.4, filled the login and password fields (of the sites), checked "force full update" to all, waited for the update and closed MA. When I've reopened it I was asked to enter my account info, and then alla the sites field were blank again.

Thanks for your answer. Another question: everytime I start MA the login and password fields of all sites are blank. Login is already filled only for Dreamtime and Fotolia. Is there a way to save those data?

Does anyone know anything about Vectoriel.com?

Wow, thanks for adding 123RF! I have a question: if I have 800 files on each site can I use the pro account or should I update to a higher one?

They are files located in different folders, so there's no danger to make confusion.

I've just understood the problem: when uploading files with the same name FileZilla overwrites them.

I'm starting uploading on Veer (I'm officially a contributor now), but the upload process is terrible! I upload via FTP, but some files doesn't show in pending list. Is it just my problem or is it "normal"?

I don't care too much about slow reviews, but I don't want to spend a lot of time on uploading for a site that will give me few sales. So in Veer I'll have to disambiguate and choose categories?
No, there are no categories to choose. You will only see the disambiguation if uploading a single image -it doesn't come into play for batches. And, at most, it might query one or two keywords -not the whole lot, like at Istock! Very few sales for me (on a very small port) but just had an EL last week. Regards, David.
Thanks, I think I'll give it a try!

Is Veer worth uploading? What's your experience with sales? And is the upload process fast (like Canstock)? I've a portfolio of 750 photos.

If also Alamy had a similar tool a lot of people would have been happier!

I think SS is accepting only bright photos, and that's pretty discouraging!

I already started working on 123RF support. Would expect to finish in couple of weeks.
Thanks!
