To defuse a situation what is wrong with showing a business card and ID and promoting yours self as a freelance photographer instead of trouble making photographer. I can find all the photo opps I need with out stirring trouble for my self or others.

Dreamtime notified me yesterday that I have photos from 2004 that haven't sold. So the two options that I have is delete or donate since stock photography is a numbers game I chose to donate. Maybe I will get sales out of this? I don't think so. Only under these circumstances that I would ever donate.

Dreamstime is great I make enough to buy my equipment people are great. But the only thing that really bugs me is selling additional files as subscription.

I am slowly moving into portrait photography. My next buy would be Calumet Genesis 200 2- light kit.
I think you'd be better off getting the 400 kit they do, 200 won't be powerful enough and you'll limit your options. Check eBay, Calumet quite often sell off their stuff a lot cheaper than it is in the shop.
Thanks I'll check ebay out

I got this info from Tamron website just in case you don't have a full framed camera
Focal length range of 70mm medium telephoto to 200mm telephoto when mounted on full-size format SLR cameras and a focal length range from 109mm to 310mm* ultra telephoto when mounted on a DSLR camera.

Does anyone know how to do this for Canon digitals? I searched the internet and only found one article, but the gentleman says to use a flashlight and look in the film compartment. I think the article was old.
I emailed Canon and of course they said that this information was not available to the public.
I recently bought a 50D and I am not happy with the noise at ISO100. I was looking at user reviews, on the Canon site and elsewhere, and it appears that when the camera first came out, everyone was complaining in the reviews about the noise(2008). But lately (2009) no one has posted cons about the noise. I'm thinking I may have gotten an early build model. Will return to B&H and would like to request a later build model, but I would like to know what I am talking about first.
You may have to urgade your firmware I found this artical http://www.engadget.com/2009/04/23/canon-50d-firmware-update-fixes-vertical-banding-issues/

Has anybody noticed the great silence coming from Pixamba? Not a peep here on MSG and still no Forum on site.
dumb question, under the assumption that your work is there, is anything selling?
Yes - I have some images there but so far no sales. I dont know if anybody is selling there either.
Pixamba forum is up and running
