Photoshop Discussion / problem with isolating objects
« on: November 18, 2007, 22:37 »
I have a constant problem when isolating objects with Photoshop Elements 5. Every isolated
object has lot of tiny white holes on the rim of the object after i separate it from background.
I am inclined to buy CS2 just for isolating objects properly. What do you think?

Lighting / backgrounds and lightning

I want to emulate the photo below, but I am not sure if they used a light box and put a painted background paper on it, or just shot the painted background that had already darker rim around it. What do you think ?

Photoshop Discussion / need help with isolating objects
« on: October 31, 2007, 19:51 »
I have Elements 5 and can, not always though, isolate and object.  Say, I want to isolate on white. Then I have to have a blank background to paste the isolated object to. The question really is what is the best way to produce a  perfect, neutral white blank  background? Mine tend to be overly bright, or gray ...
