I confirm Shutterstock is going down. I never see that. There is for sure something happen, Client is going to buy at adobe stock now

Some of my friends said that shutterstock not accept payment from customers, their payment system refused all, if you want to buy, you must contact support and wait a few days or even a few weeks. So funny. 

It's the second time I've  got a vector download and then modify a little bit and uploaded by another contributor. I contact Shutterstock infrigment department and even with proof, then don't take it seriously. I got that answer :

As you may know, ideas cannot be protected by copyright, only the expression of the ideas may be protected by copyright. Upon reviewing these images, it appears that while the ideas between your images and the other contributor's images are similar, the expressions of the ideas are sufficiently different.

 

As anyone else had this issue and this disapointed shutterstock answer ?

They never solve this problem for you. Just edit or add something, it will be someone else's.

Seems like SS tracks their users on their site. Hopefully they'll stay away from tracking their users elsewhere.

I see them always tracks users to enhance the experience as they say.

Unbelievable. They clearly favor some contributors over others, even though all these should have been rejected for being too similar.

But Shutterstock is going down the drain anyway, if they continue this way.

The income from selling images from shutterstock is getting worse.

It looks very good, good prices but the image is not much
