From my experience no I didn't have to change anything. Why did you go to that page? If to check, which is why I have, then it's just showing what your settings are.

Replacing with the same is unnecessary. I haven't re-entered and I haven't had any payment problems.

Thanks a lot for your response.

The user wastes too much time in ordering the keywords according to their order of importance. Before any other new modification Adobe should focus on solving this problem.

Totally agree with you.

General - Top Sites / Re: My first month with Freepik !
« on: April 25, 2022, 12:13 »
I just signed up at freepik. I'm not too concerned with RPD, there are several metrics worth looking at when it comes to choosing which sites to work with. For me it's more about how much money am I making overall, for how much effort, and does contributing to that site devalue my work elsewhere. On the last point, I don't think it does. The freepik audience isn't the same as the SS audience or other typical microstock marketplaces. At least that's my impression of it.

Not everything is so black and white in this business. I can be a contributor at a place that isn't exactly great in terms of RPD and still get something out if it without selling my soul to the company. I can curate what i upload there, send just older work or less popular images. I can drop 100 images there and just see what happens. Don't have to go all-in right away.

At this point, is anything really not worth a try? It's not like things have been trending in a great direction anyway. Freepik isn't going to be the thing that breaks this business. It was being broken years ago by the companies that so many folks here still sing the praises of.

I completely agree with you

Weird how everyone with anything positive to say about these POS sites follows up with a referral link.

EDIT: wasn't this you? https://www.microstockgroup.com/general-big-6/freepik-steals-designs/msg570385/#msg570385
"Someone stole my logo design and put it on Freepik
I sent an email to [email protected] and it's more than 20 days ago and I didn't get an answer ?? (every days I send an email)
this is the worst support service 🤢
be careful. "

Why would you trust a site like that with your work? Not even mentioning their long list of other sins.

The CCO of Freepik Company sends me an apology and explains the reasons for being late. They delete the stolen file as well.

I got paid yesterday (PayPal, USA) but I went to look at that display on my account and it said "Payment done".

I've never looked at that payment history before, so I don't know if your display "normal" or not. I did note that the date for the payment was February 28 - when I requested it - not March 9, the day the PayPal payment was made.

OK Thank you !

General Stock Discussion / use two words in one keyword ?
« on: February 24, 2022, 07:22 »
Hello everyone
Would it be a problem to use two words or more in one keyword ?
As an example  " united states "  "Made in France" , ?

99
not only that, this user is using 2 worded keywords for all of his keywords on all of his work without any consequences, reported it long time ago.

https://www.shutterstock.com/g/fizkes

unfortunately, SS dont care anymore

Whats wrong with two worded keywords?? Did i lose something??

Based on my knowledge this will hurt your exposition on the site...

I thought about this a lot and to me it makes more sense to use white background instead of white, background but white can and should also be used.
Because an isolated image is not exactly a background or texture. Buyers would normally search on white white background or just white

Almost all images I see are with separate background keyword so if buyers look for a neat background they get isolations on white too amongst the whole library because everyone seems to use this keyword on everything.
Of course those who do it properly might get punished in search so maybe it is better to keep them separate.
Any thoughts on this?

Ps. Why is it always those from India who sell stolen images? And most of the time I deal with People from India trough SS support. Also most of them seem to be ok with SS change when I check the forums.
Or am I just imagining things?

"white background" "young adult" "full body" are fine and have meaning. check contributor from my link and see how is he misusing it and have 100 keywords on each image, never punished, and now he is one of the best sellers even tho he is not doing anything done before.

"headshot fast" "ethnic laptop" "happy indoors"

so there is no problem to use two words in one keyword ?
