I had a Christmas image at something like 350 its still at 178.. it only made the top ten of the week once(photos only). I would think there are files that have reached close to 1,000 or possibly more.

I had a couple rejected for composition a few weeks ago that are selling fine everywhere else. One is on the front page rotation at bigstock :) I thought that was kind of funny.

Yes I do remember which site. Actually, after going back and looking at the file its a little soft at 100%.. The file is selling well everywhere regardless..
How many times have people held back submitting there "best shots" because its a little soft at 100% or even blurry,  it drives me crazy!! I think that sometimes the imperfections are what make the photo great. like in digital music where analog noise is added to make it sound sweet to your ears. Maybe there should be exceptions(separate review line) made for files that are flawed but sweet? I think it would benefit microstock and take the leash off of a lot of creative types.

The reason for the rejection seemed odd to me so maybe it never happened. a gliche perhaps?

I had a file rejected 10 days ago on one of the big micro sites. Today a strange thing happened,  it miraculously showed up as being approved :)
How sweet is that? Is there a little mouse that runs around in the middle of the night changing rejections?

Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?
very cool indeed!!

It appears that the "niche guys" and people with large portfolios are going to take a beating with this one. Perhaps this is just a temporary fix until they figure something else out??

Personally I like the idea of beefing up security. I know some people might be happy with the new change, but If you shoot nothing but beaches and women or Ice bergs because you live in Alaska, its going to hurt. Surely there must be a better solution?
