I'm just wondering if it's worth uploading to this site.

I've joined up, uploaded my model releases, and I've been sent the FTP details via e-mail.

I haven't started uploading yet, and before I do, I'd like to hear some 'recent' feedback about the site.

Is anybody having sales on this site?

I have about 10 sales per month on scanstock with little less than 8K pictures online; not much but still better than most low earners (where my sales are usually 0 per month)

So - without high expectations - but it's worth a try in my opinion

They're also honest and quick in answering emails and payments

With about 1100 images there I'm averaging a payout a year - not great but the upload process is easy.

The upload is painless by FTP. The model release module is primitive. You will have to stitch your model releases together in case there is more than one model in the image. Average sale 1 per month, with 380 images online.

I used to have 1-2 sales per month there with a portfolio of around 400 images. I haven't had any sale since March though.

One euro per image is an excellent earning (I have RPDs much lower than that in other sites). Their price (3-4 euros) is also a bargain for large files, but expensive for small ones. As I sell mostly XS-S in other sites (except in subs, of course), maybe this is the reason why they are not more succesful.

Yes, I see what you mean.

Yesterday, I uploaded 41 photos. I then tried to transfer the FTP uploads to the editing queue. However, I couldn't work out what was going on....I was looking for some type of progress indicator....to let me know when the transfer had finished. I didn't get an indicator, so I hit the get FTP uploads again, and after a few minutes, I hit it again. Consequently, I ended up with four of each photo, so I had to sit here and delete one image at a time.

Stitching the model releases together isn't a concern.....iStock require them to be uploaded that way, so I already had them ready to go.

I'm currently uploading nearly 1700 images using FTP. When the upload process has completed, in around 24 hours frpm now, I'll make sure I only hit the transfer button once, and leave it all night. Hopefully, next morning, the 1700 will be in the waiting to be edited queue! I certainly won't click on the button twice, this time!!!

Yes that is very annoying. The site programming is very basic, probably because Eiric (a nice guy!) does it all by himself. The trick is this: open a second window of SSP and check your upload list there growing. Don't touch the first FTP import window.

Deepmeta does auto stitching. I couldn't imagine uploading to IS without Deepmeta.

I haven't had any sale since March though", the answer to "Is it worth a try?" is a resounding "Nope".

For me, it's all about the submission process: if I can schedule FTP and upload my entire portfolio in a few nights, and then submit all pictures with ONE click (literally), then it's alright, even 10 euros per month.

If they ask to select categories or submit pictures one by one, I won't upload unless I am sure I can earn hundreds per month.

I wouldn't recommend them given the current performance, but then so many people upload to any site where it's easy to upload to (and I used to be like that)...

Last week, I joined the site, and uploaded 1628 images. Within three to four days, all of my images were inspected.

I was a tad surprised at the number of images they rejected.....465 images.

What surprised me more was that many of the images they rejected were accepted on iStock, Dreamstime and SS, and some of them are my best sellers. In fact, one of the images that was rejected is my third highest 25-A-Day earner, and my highest Enhanced earner on SS.

Now I'm hoping for a few sales!

I average almost a euro a day but then again my images are from scandinavia so that probably helps.

i just uploaded some pics. i don't see any option to mark them as editorial. do they select editorial images when reviewing?
